Its Been Awhile... And Its Gonna Be Awhile...

Finally after 2 weeks in the internet wilderness I finally get to come back into civilization via Starbucks @ DP. Again I followed my mom who wanted to do her weekly 'jalan-jalan' but also suppose to go watch movie with post-India boy. Yes just the 2 of us ... damn gay I know but hey, better than watching movie alone rite?? *points at Yong*

Already watched Terminator Salvation with him yesterday. It wasn't the best of the series ( still think part 2 pwns) but it was ok. Abit messy but watchable la. For those who haven't watched it, there is a surprise cameo by the original Terminator sumwhere in the movie! And not often do I say this but Christian Bale damn leng chai sial in the movie!( also cos no hot chicks there -.-) Though he didn't get to say his cheesy yet immortalized one liners! But the coolest thing was the new Transformers trailer before the movie! Haven't been to the movies or online in a while so it was new to me. And holy shit was it good! Btw, since when Malacca so happening huh? Weekday night oso so many ppl come watch movie? No need to work or go school meh?? Or all drop outs like me??

Terminator : Pembebasan was the Malay translation.. better thn some

Anyways got 3 + hours before the movie starts so plenty of time to catch up here. Its been pretty boring back in Malacca and with the weather so freaking hot, going out of the house oso damn malas. So what have I been doing past few days ? Sit in front of tv and camp ni... Wake up, TV, lunch, tv, sleep, tv, dinner, com, tv, sleep. The cycle has repeated itself non-stop all this while with the odd exception of futsal every now and again. Can't believe I'm saying this but really can't wait to start class again. Only problem is, I .. or should I say, my parents still dunno where to campak me yet. -.-' .. They seem hell bent on me staying here and I am hell bent on getting the shit outta here!! Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to sort things out.

Whatever it is, I really wanna get out of here soon, can die sial kena nag at home. Do nothing kena nag, do something oso kena nag, do housework slack abit oso kena nag... MMU never reply me oso kena nag.. For no reason sial.. Most of the time is about how I'm wasting my life away and comparing me with my relatives. Though I do try to not give a flying fuck bout it, it does get on my nerves and demoralizing at times. Just feel like shouting "WTF, Like my fault that I haven't start studying" at them but the most vulgar word I utter at home oso is 'shit'. Ah well, parents... just gotta live with it I suppose..

The 1 day I get to go online and I got this... -.-

Well, the football season has finally been concluded (note: still got FA Cup final but who gives a shit??) which means no more late nites watching football for the next 70 odd days!! Holy shit!! What am I gonna do on the weekends??? Well, it did end with the dream finale although the result wasn't what I wanted.

Even before the game the omens were against United, 1) No team has ever defended the crown in the new format 2) The team with the top scorer eventually won in the final, in 2007 it was Kaka and Milan, last year was Ronaldo and United and this year was Messi and Barca. But then again, if there was any team that likes to rewrite the history books it was united.

I hate to say this but Barca totally whooped Man U's ass that night in Rome. Now I've said all along whatever the result, I would be happy cos both of my favourite teams were playing for the biggest prize in Europe, but when Sam Eto'o prodded the ball into the net, my heart sunk... and it sunk like the Titanic when Messi's cool placed header looped over Van DS into the far corner.

The defining moment

But in the end, the better team on the night did win. Watching Barcelona run circles around the United back four was just heartbreaking and mezmerising at the same time. Sir Alex himself concluded that they were beaten by the better team and it had nothing to do with the pitch, weather or officials. Now you don't here that coming from ANY other managers do you?

New kings of Europe and deservedly so

Well, at least I can cheer up cos I have tickets to watch United come over here to play on July 18th!!! Now since enrolling in TARc last time, the dream was always to go and watch United at Old Trafford during my summer programme in my final year. Now that that dream is gone, I think this would be the next best thing. I think theres a saying along the lines of 'if Jesus can't go to church, the church goes to Jesus' or was it Mohammed? Anyways, I'm going out on a limb to say ' If I can't go to United, then United will come to me!!' .

Tickets went on pre sale on the 22nd of May, and I thought buying it anytime on that day would guarantee us tickets but holy shit, by 5+ almost all the tickets were sold out according to Yong. I just pray the seats we get got good view la. I will be there come 18th of July. Will you?

The Devils are coming... I'll be going

Tropic Heat..

Shit... weather back here has been nothing but pure hellish shit! Just sitting at home in the living room in the middle of the afternoon also can start to sweat! WTF man.. humidity level here is through the roof! It has been so hot, that I can even get 'free' hot water when I don't need it! If cold weather is suppose to make a person more mellow and less active, than I guess this hot and humid weather is suppose to make ppl worked up and tulan?

Anyways, my mom sorta cought me off guard the other day, the first thing she said when I stepped into the car was ' U know its your cousin's wedding this Sat rite?'. Holy shit!! It didn't even cross my mind once.. well, more like no one reminded me of it. And the last time I heard anything bout it was during CNY.. I'm in a dress code dilemma. Not prepared for this at all!! I do have some clothes at home, but they wouldn't be the newest I have. And whats more, its a church wedding! HOLY SHIT!!! The last time I stepped into a church was during my cousin's cousin's wedding.... which was like 10+ years ago! Well, at least its during the day and its a lunch service, so 1) get to escape the heat in a air con restaurant 2) wont be missing any football n f1 :D

Speaking of which, after the 2 Champions League semis in midweek, I , along with millions of purist got our wish for a dream final in Rome come the 27th of May. Well, I'm basically a fan of both clubs so I couldn't have asked for a better final! Last year both teams met in the semi final which I thought was a waste, and this year its one step better. Both teams however had separate paths to the final showcase with United crushing the Gooners 4-1 on aggregate in a match between 11 men and 11 boys.

Back at his lethal best!!

Where as Barca on the other hand had a controversial match to say the least against Chelski. Numerous bad calls by the ref saw My second team advance thanks to a super goal by Ineista. Told Ant few days ago that I wanted to get a jersey of Messi 10 and Ineista 8 but sadly couldn't find... Chelski players behaved like well, Chelski players after the match, chasing the ref, shit like that.. Ballack was once seen circling the ref as he appealed for a penalty when it clearly hit the torso of a Barca player. I say ban those sore losers!! A fine would be worthless as they already have too much to spear!

The goal that set up the dream final

Oh well, doesn't matter as now I will wait and see the showpiece event, the final match of this seasons football league. No doubt which team I'd be rooting to win, but if the other team won, I'd be happy as well :D. Lets just hope we won't get any bad calls either way!

Gonna go back after taking shows from Soon and hibernate in the air con room ...

Life.. or Lack of It!

Long ago, when one is bored or too free or simply sien and has no friends who is as free, they would either pick up a book, magazine, newspaper or just turn on the tele. But times has moved on, now, people like me have much better things to do : spam YouTube!

Well, I haven't come to the point of random clicking and watching nonsense, but I am pretty close. Lets see, at first I was just using it to watch Bleach, then it jumped to music videos, and live concerts then it was Gordon Ramsay and all his shows, which lead me to watching Ricky Gervais' stand up comedy (fucking Hilarious!!) Britains Got Talent (and boy they do!) which entail, led me to watching Leona Lewis journey through X-factor.She can really belt it out weh!! See her pawn Kelly Clarkson's 'A Moment Like This'.

And if you are as much of a YouTube surfer as me, you'd have seen Charlie The Unicorn at one stage. Lemah sial, video like this can have 13mil views, but I still don't get how a video of a toddler and his baby sibling can get 90+ mil votes! WTF! Well, of cos there is also the Victoria Secret's Annual Fashion show that keeps me glued and salivating :}~ . Not in a million years you'd ever see that on Astro let alone national tv!

Besides all that YouTube stuff which usually takes up a quater of my daily life, been hooked on Restaurant City on Facebook! Yes, even something as kiddie like as that oso can get me hooked! I can stare at the little people coming in my restaurant, eating, pooing, paying for hours weh! shit... Well, ever since watching Hell's Kitchen I've always wondered what would it be like to run my own restaurant, and now I can! Even had the pipedream to open one once I have enough moolah to splash around but after watching Kitchen Nightmares, I think sticking to Restaurant City is a safer bet! Anyone got cream and salad to trade with me?

Just another busy day in Hell's Kitchen... yes that is the name!

I thought that this was it, YouTube and Facebook but just yesterday, I got myself a copy of Fifa Online 2. Now at first I was sceptical, can my dinosour com support mou? But after running it, I'm hooked on another thing liao.. Currently managing Real Betis of Spain @ level 8 and I already have Iker Casillas as my 'keeper amongst other stars! :D

Speaking of which, last weekends football results was a joy to behold! El Clasico, which for those who have no idea or couldn't give a shit, is THE tie of the Spanish league pitting Barcelona against Real Madrid. Imagine it like Malaysia vs Singapore Man Utd vs Liverpool, only BIGGER, and this time round, Barca whooped Madrid 6-2 in Madrid! With Barca, especially Messi and Henry in such devastating form, I fear for us WHEN we meet them in the Champions League Final in Rome later..

Messi played out of his skin with 2 goals, definitely THE player of the year!

Well, we didn't do too bad ourselves as United comfortably beat M'boro to take us one step closer to the Premier League title! I am hopeful that both United and Barca can carry on their form to the midweek champions league matches. Though both of their opponents also won their respective games in the league. Block buster encounters ahead I'm sure! Again, critics of football or those who don't understand why we take this as a matter more serious than life and death, I just wish I can stuff humble pie in ur mouth! :P (wa, random shooting)

Orang tua still has it!

Speaking of randomness, swine flu has been quite an issue lately, 1 more level to a global pandemic. I wonder what does that mean for us here? Masks? No pork, no pork (somehow a mamak conversation comes to mind) ? I do wonder IF this is a biological attack by the terrorist in the middle east. Think of it, ALL of Asia still no case reported while the whole Western world is on high alert! Hmmmm...

Anyways, just when I found things to keep myself occupied, sadly I'm going back to Malacca tomorrow which means no net!!! Nnnoooooo!!! Phang, I come invade ur house while you go to class ok? :D
