In A Nutshell...

As the 1st decade of the new millennium winds down, 2009 for me can be described in short as one full of ups and downs. To not bore you all to death (we've had ENOUGH of those already this year) I'll try to summarize it as short and simple as possible. If there was a song that I can think of at the top of my head right now to sum it all up it would be Katy Perry's Hot & Cold. Yes, not so rock-metal-type of song usually associated with my music taste but hey, it has been that kinda year for me.

Best moment of the year has got to be being able to watch Manchester United LIVE in our very own backyard. Everyone knows what a die hard fan I am so it might not come as a surprise eh. But spare a thought to the tragic bombings in Jakarta for which if it did not happen, this would've been THE worst moment of my life, let alone year. However, it all went well and part of my life long goal has been achieved. The next part is to actually go to Old Trafford and watch them in a competitive match. 2010 perhaps?

Dream coming true...

Close runners up as far as I can think of would be those road trips to Penang, getting a new laptop, quitting TAR College and starting afresh, finding new ways to get hammered, watching The Foo Fighters Live via Facebook, going white water rafting.

The Power of Facebook...

Worst moment of the year, well I tend not to remember bad things for long, so I have to say, waking up early in the morning, checking Facebook and realizing Micheal Jackson had just pass away. That totally spoiled my mood for the entire day.

Which brings me to the main theme of 2009: Death. I am well aware that people die everyday, but famous people? Ones that I know of and not some old fart whose time is due anyway is just sad. Probably 09 will be remembered more for the demise of the Gloved One than the election of America's first Black president. Other notable ones include Sir Bobby Robson, Patrick Swayze, Brittany Murphy and most recently, The Rev, drummer for Avenged Sevenfold. On the local front lets not forget film maker Yasmin Ahmad and victims of political evil Teoh Beng Hock and Kuga.

Story of The Year?...

Which leads to my bleak outlook at our country for 09. I knew we were already in the shits back then, but this year has really opened my eyes to see how much shit we are actually in. And by the looks of it, 2010 will reek of crap spilled over. From riots to fugitives to murders to corruption to racial incitement and deaths and suffering of innocents. Literally every single offence you can think of, it has happened at the highest level. And to think the new 'slogan' for our country is 1Malaysia. Will it be better or worse next year? All I can say is I love my country (yes you read right) but I hate the people running it.

The State of The Nation...

Right enough of that, lastly though it wouldn't be right to wrap up my review without including the girlfriend. She has been through the best and worst parts of the year with me, through thick and thin. For that I do consider myself lucky. Happy New Year to you in Hong Kong love.

Let The Good Times Roll...

So there, wrapped it up pretty short right? In a couple of days time it all goes back to 1 and we shall start the cycle again. All I can do now is show the middle finger ..i.. to the bad times and the devil horns \m/ to the good of 2009. As for the upcoming year, 'Just Bring It'. How has 2009 been for you?

Injury Crisis...

I think everyone knows that in contact sports, injuries are part and parcel of the game. Heck, Manchester United has 12 players out at the moment, majority of them made up of the defence. Well, at least we are at the top of some kind of table.

Dear Santa, for Christmas please give us a class defender - Fergie...

And if I was a player on the squad (oh how I wish!), the number would be up to 13. Well I suppose playing futsal 3 times in 4 days is bound to take a tow somewhere down the line on me. Firstly, I strained my wrist a little. Odd thing was, I had no idea how it happened and all I knew is after 3 hours of futsal on that day, only when I came back did I feel the pain. Only theory I can come up with is I got injured when using my hand to cushion my fall. Aih... life...

At least I could still strum...

One of the reasons I dislike playing futsal on turf is because of the major carpet burns I get. Seriously, each time I play on the turf/green court, I can say 90% of the time I get carpet burn. -.-'... And I'm sure most of you know that getting water onto the wound is a major pain in the nuts!

Carpet burn #5647

And to sum it all up, my reoccurring injury on my left knee well, reoccurred last night. Luckily I had my knee brace on or I think I would've seriously twisted it already. Yeah, today left knee internally injured, right knee superficially. Putting on pants has never been this troublesome!

But I can consider myself lucky as this is by far the most serious injury I've had playing futsal/football. I know people who have broken bones and torn ligaments so I'll quite whining now =P.

And to add salt to injury, I will have to extract another wisdom tooth ( am I not unwise enough already?) soon. Aih...

Football Karma...

Some call it fate, some call it destiny, some call it karma, some even call it an act of God. What ever it is, this season's Champions League draw has been throwing up seriously ironic and yet scrumptious ties.

Case and point, initial group stages, Real Madrid vs AC Milan: The return of Kaka to his once hunting ground, claiming he wouldn't leave. Well he hadn't left long enough as those grandpa's in the Milan defence still remembered his playing style and marked him perfectly.

Then it was Barcelona vs Inter Milan. The return of Zlatan and Eto'o who ironically switched sides during the off season. Oh there was Maxwell as well for Barca but that didn't really matter.

Now, right after the draw for the knockout stages were done, this mysterious force can be seen at play again. David Beckham's Christmas wish came early cos couple of days ago, he said he wished to return to Old Trafford with Milan in the next stage. And lull and behold, he got it. Must've a good boy this year eh Mr. Becks.

Then there is Real Madrid vs Lyon. I highlighted this tie cos Madrid do have a former Lyon player, key and star player in fact, who goes by the name of Karim Benzema. Prolific player no doubt but maybe not such a prolific match cos he hasn't been getting his chances at the White House.

But the draw that takes the cap has to be the return of The Special One to Stamford Bridge as Inter has been paired with Chelsea. And with current Chelsea gaffer Ancelotti previously managing arch rival Milan, sparks are sure to fly!

So yeah, come February, another set of mouth-watering ties are in store. On a related manner, Mr. Wy has finally chosen a team to support. Well, at least now you will be able to enjoy or suffer (which ever makes u happy) the turmoil and stress of being a supporter of THAT club. Seriously, I know die hard supporters giving up on watching the team play cos of that fat waiter that seems to have the managerial job in the dugout. Well at least on paper the have an easy draw in the Europa League. Yes wy, the taunting has already begun :P!

Once Bitten Twice Shy...

Well, that's the expression a normal person would do when being caught doing something bad. But apparently here in 1Malaysia, that just doesn't seem to apply. Remember this ?:

Notice the mentally disabled guy holding the cow on the left...

Well the same bunch of people are at it again...

Here he is again with the SAME outfit...

This is a retaliation to an incident where an opposition MP stepped on pictures of 3 BN pictures. 2 Malays and 1 CHINESE... So this mentally challenged people thought it would be a smart idea to do the same... With much more than just stepping on the faces...

'Peeing' or asking to 'suck dick'?

My main question is where is the police? RELA? Water cannons? Tear gas? It is after all IN FRONT of the Shah Alam court house. I seriously doubt these people even have permits to gather. What, they gonna tell the cops 'Nak apply permit untuk pijak muka MP PKR' ?

At least cows are more useful and smarter than this lot...

Seriously, if these are the kind of people who are fighting for malay rights, no wonder they can't progress any further then they already have. There must be more civilised ways to go about this matter. So can we call these people degil macam lembu?

Clearly 1Malaysia but 2 standards. If its any of the minority races that did this, by now they'd be hulled up by the ISA. Its not that I wanna bash these kinda people but when it's right there in the open served on a silver platter, how not to?

It Went *Crrcck* *Crrcckk*...

That was the sound I heard when the dentist pulled out my wisdom tooth or should I say twisted it like it was lickerish with the sound of someone grounding nuts and yanked it out with two tries...

Who knew that the cause for my bottom gum to swell was because of my top wisdom tooth pressing on the gum. All this while I thought my bottom tooth was being the problem one.

Good news is, 1 week of pain and discomfort is finally over =D. Bad news is I probably have to go see him again in 2 weeks to massacre pull out the bottom one pending X-ray. And that's the one that's gonna be a bitch so I've heard. FML.

Think only PYH knew bout this and the fella can tell me summore why I come back to do when I can do in KL. I don't know how much it will cost in KL but back here, private clinic summore only cost me RM70 in total and that also I can claim from my mom :D.

Ah... can't seem to get Foo Fighters' 'A Cold Day In The Sun' and 'Everlong' out of my head!!! Not that I'm complaining though... ^^\m/

In The News Today...

As ever I find that our nation's mainstream printed media is fast becoming tabloid stuff. In other words, 'this kinda news also wanna publish meh?' In today's page 3 of The Star had this as the main story : Obese housewife back on her feet.

Apparently she hasn't been able to stand for 2 years (!!) now and that standing for more then 10 minutes for her was a pain... Now she can stand for 30 minutes. And she's close to tears! She says it was reported as such a feat... WTF! Climbing Everest is a feat, battling and beating cancer is a feat, climbing up a flight of stairs with 1 leg is a feat.. standing up on 2 is NOT.

Its A Miracle~!!... pic courtesy of The Star

I agree with Ricky Gervais when he said that obesity is NOT a disease. He said, when obese people were still at fat stage and stepped on the scale, didn't they have it in mind to stop eating for *insert anything u believe in here* sake?

In this case I really have no pity for the woman... Her 11 year old kid had to quit school at Standard 1.. Standard freaking 1!!! to support her. FUUUkk.. Didn't she stop to think that 'hmmm.. I'm starting to gain a lil bit too much weight. maybe I should cut down on my food and try to go exercise?'

Getting down to the point, if they suffer by themselves and die in a pool of their own fat is fine by me, but when they drag others around to their misery, their own kids for instance, thats crossing the line for me.

Oh and get this, her waist size is a whopping 71cmin! and that is after she went some therapy and shrunk from 77cmin! machaohai, did it ever occur to her that when shopping malls like Jusco or Parkson stops selling pants for NORMAL people, she should do something about her weight?? Don't think poverty can be put at fault for this, after all exercise is FREE, don't have to go to Fitness First or Celebrity Fitness to lose weight ok.

Shit, even the army had to come and help rebuild her house! I know that our army has nothing better to do then blow people up at times la but still to have the army to help you...

The complete report can be found here and here.

Life's A Drag...

This has got to be one of the more boring weeks I've had to endure. Well, for one all of my assignments (group and solo) is done and dusted. So a big weight off my shoulders there. Funny thing is I don't remember working so hard on my assignments before during my days at TAR. Hmmm, could it be that they don't give a shit bout plagiarism so last minute work is ok where as HELP uses some online system that manages to check out how much you copy from the net or book sources!, or could it be that I just didn't give a shit bout TAR assignments since it was so dry and yawnz?

Anyways, finals will be in about less then 10 days time. Shit thing is 1 paper on the 1st then have to wait a whole 2 weeks for the next paper!! =.=' ... Which will give me much time to study or much time to slack off in between... Kinda feel like out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Since it has been November Raini-ing almost everyday, it does make the whole mood to get up and do something kinda die off. Good thing is there is finally football coming back this weekend. Bad thing is full of fucking injuries to my fantasy player.. though I'm sure I'm not the only one whining bout this.

To add to the shittyness of the week per say, the net has been on hyper fucked up mode (what's new btw) that not only is it slow but somehow some turd decided to shut down the site I download my series from. Don't think its the same turd that tried to shut down the site I do for gossip though but it still kinda pisses me off. But with net speeds like this, wouldn't make a difference. Thankfully still have trusty torrent to do the job for me.

Think this dark cloudy mood is also infecting almost everyone of us. Even the political scene that I oh so love to bash here has dried up. Nothing new or exciting for me to piss and moan about.. -.-''

Well, in the midst of all this, at least I have live concerts of Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Foo Fighters, Avenged Sevenfold and Radiohead to keep me occupied during the weekend. Heck I might as well get started on my revision... Another thing that has never happened to me before! o.O...

On a lighter note, I am truly surprised that the Prosperity Meal @ McD's is out already!! And it is still not even Christmas yet!! I have always been a fan of the Prosperity Burger since it was 1st introduced... heck even my non McD eating dad likes it. But ever since past few years where the burger shrunk but the price got jacked, it has become just one of those commodities that I have to have at least once a season... Oh well looks like the week ain't THAT dull..

Prosperous shyttt...

Gah.. another 5 hours till United plays...

The Word On The Street Is...

That guitar/rock God Slash will be releasing his solo album next year... Well, that is a long way for it to be hyped out now.. but the shit that got me all jacked up is the line up of artist that will be appearing on his album.

http://www.twolia.com/blogs/teacups-and-couture/files/2009/04/slash.jpg
Girls want him... Guys wanna be like him...

Amongst those who are slated to feature on the album are Ozzie Osbourne [Black Sabbath], Chris Cornell [ex-Audioslave], M. Shadows [Avenged Sevenfold], Kid Rock, Alice Cooper, Flea [Red Hot Chilli Peppers], Dave Grohl [Foo Fighters] and even Fergie!!

Holy shit man... that's an all star line up if I ever saw one... Its like erm... BoA and..errm... who summore arrhhh... Trying to put this awesomeness in a perspective Yong, Phil can understand but FAIL...

But if this rumour is true it is going to be LEGEND...wait for it... DARY!!!

Justice Is Served...

Read this article in The Star last Friday bout a lady ramming down a snatch theft in her Perodua Myvi to death in KL. See this is when greed can get you killed. According to the report the dumb ass snatch theft was given RM42 but was not satisfied so he demanded her phone instead. But when the woman refused to give it up, he snatched her handbag instead.

Yes, a Perodua Myvi that had me laughing in stitches when Top Gears' Jeremy Clarkson did a review..

Calls it a MeeVi...

Well, what happened next was pure WIN in my books. She ran him over crashing him into a golf club fencing. Son of a bitch died on the spot! Ah, for more details go here.

But no good deed goes unpunished as according to the cops, she will be charged under Section 304 of the Penal Code as culpable homicide no amounting to murder.

My question to any lawyers or future lawyers out there ...errm.. Joanne? What are the charges will she be sentenced if she is found 'guilty'? Jail?

On a similar note, is there any law that protects the victim if he/she acts out in self defence and lets say kills the guy (like in the case above but only intentionally)? Or lets say I kena mug, then in self defence, I beat the living shit out of the guy, can the guy sue me for assault and battery? Or is there some self defence law where I can get off Scott free?

Cos I seriously won't mind running over some mat rempits if I was being chased by them. Taking out the trash of the nation so to say.

An Almost Perfect Weekend...

Could have been more perfect if not for...

Recipe for Destruction...

1) Damn FM2010 disc requires the DVD to play.

2) Metallica concert sounds SUCKS! Feeling so ripped off.. haiz.. but still at least the video quality still ok larr..

Though this will be the closest similarity ever me and Yong will have in terms of music. Haha...

Then again this is FM and Metallica.. so I won't complain that much..

Well, this weekend another BIG match... and this time I'm even more sceptical about the outcome compared to the last big match.. A draw IMO would be a good result.. fingers crossed...

Having A Laugh...

PYH shared this with me on MSN... Pictures says a thousand words...

IIUM stands for International Islamic University Malaysia...

Seriously, they expect their students peers to be scared by the sentence 'Allah is watching us'? Seriously...

I've been staring at the screen for a good 10 min contemplating whether to put up the words 'Allah/God' and 'voyeur' in the same sentence.. Hmm, guess I'd better NOT this time :P

*Edit : Sorry, apparently the campus officials had nothing to do with this instead it is the work of a student group in the campus.. pai seh pai seh*

Rockin' At 10 In The Mornin'...

Earlier this year a friend of my dad asked me what's all this hype about Facebook and what use has it other than being a waste of time displaying your details to the rest of the world? All I could say then was 1) Can be used to get reconnected with old friends, 2) getting to know about events happening around.

Now I can add another one : watching live concerts by bands who wouldn't think twice about coming here to play! Yes, few hours ago I was up at the crack of 10am to watch the Foo Fighters play LIVE via FaceBook! Those of you who don't know who they are must've your heads shoved up a place where the sun don't shine for about a decade and a half.

For those who do, well, they did a free gig and streamed it via their FaceBook fan page (see it pays to click on those fan pages). They rocked for a whole 2 and a half hours! I wonder if it would've been that long at a concert. What surprised me was I was able to stream flawlessly for about 2 hours from 10-12. Then unsurprisingly our lowly ranked internet speed gave me shit. Was stuttering and lagging for the last half hour >:(.

Who says Facebook is a waste of time?...

Sweet thing was they played most of their big hits so I was actually head banging most of the time at 10 in the morning! Pity those fellas in Europe who had to watch the gig in the wee hours of the morning though... having to put on earphones and all. Well take that bitches! Now you know how we feel having to stay up watching football matches!

This was my 2nd time watching something being streamed live over Facebook. 1st was the memorial service for MJ. Hopefully more artist will catch up to this and decide to do a free gig for the fans. Would really like to see the Red Hot Chilli Peppers do this!

Right, I suppose now is the right time to go and resume my nap time. Couldn't sleep till 6am and woke up at 10 for the show.

Oh Halloween is today though we Malaysians don't celebrate this as big as the States. It would be nice to dress up as a cop and beat up people eh? But then again, people might just say "meh, biasa lah tu, macam tak pernah tengok".

One last note, this week's South Park pwns last week's 'They Took His Job' episode with Cartman singing Poker Face! And shit it wasn't half bad!

Aftermath...

Say what you want about the match just now, but for the record, I honestly didn't think we deserved to win. I'll be the first to stand up and admit we were beaten by the better team. Right from the kick off Liverpool looked the more hungrier side. Their passes were more precise and had more intent. Hey, it's their managers' head on the line, not Fergie's so naturally they will have more incentive. And I've already said before the match that I can't see Liverpool losing 5 in a row.

Yes we were way way below par. Only shot on target was Rooney's offside goal. Scholes was shitty, I have always said, we can never play big matches with 2 senior players in the team. Oh well, looks like a half fit Torres is better than a half fit Rooney. There were several beach balls on the loose but they didn't come in the way.

Though I do wonder what might've been had the referee grew a pair of nuts and be more consistent. Booking United players, fine I'll accept, but not booking the home team for more malicious tackles is a travesty to football. No wonder the rest of the league claims the Big 4 have the ref's in their back pocket. To prove a point, Carragher was only shown a yellow card for last man tackle on Owen? To prove another point, wait til the return match at Old Trafford, and I'm sure someone will say the ref is on United's side.

Well, it is just 10 games in the season and 2 losses. Not that bad, we had worse times, not to mention losing this fixture home and away last season. All in all, good job on Liverpool's side on winning. On to the next fixture thn...

Life's A Beach...

Another week of the BPL has passed. I say another even though still got 2 matches to be played but since neither involves a Big 4 club, who cares? We manage to make life difficult for ourselves yet again but I have to say Berba is beginning to find his form and could've scored a sublime goal but for a great save from the keeper. And Giggs could've had 3-4 assists IF anyone of his balls was met properly.. thus he only gave me 2 pts in this weeks Fantasy =.='.

But there was good news as 2 of the Big 4 lost. Though I seriously think Darren Bent should NOT be given the goal. It should instead go to the beach ball! Heavy deflection, if it was a Liverpool player (eh, with the logo it might have been!) that would've been an own goal already. Haiz, guess I've to jump on the Bent-wagon again. 2 games I drop him and he comes up with +- 20 pts.

And ahead of next weeks massive clash between Liverpool and United, I have a funny feeling that there will be a large warning sign in front of Anfield saying 'No Beach Balls Allowed!'. Ah, til next week then, in terms of footballing sense, I hope everyone will be fit so that it will be a good match and no excuses can be thrown by the losing team, if there is one. But, in terms of a die hard United fan, hopefully Rooney will be back but Gerrard and Torres is still out! How bout Owen to score @ Anfield?

Ok, need to bitch about PYH cos PYH has been bitchin to me the past few days. When the bugger called me yesterday, I thought it was to see how I was going ka, ask me how I'm spending my weekend ka, wish me happy Deepavali ka (eh, we did wish each other Selamat Hari Raya k), but nooo, bitch just called to ask how to cook beef @ Seoul Garden =.='.

Well, on a lighter note, I'm happy to know that 30 Rock is finally back on the air! But I am having a bit of a troubling time watching this British comedy called The Mighty Boosh. Seriously is a trippy kind of show with funky hairdos and senseless plots. I don't think many of my friends would be able to watch this show. Shit, even I couldn't watch more than 1 epi per time. Overkill...

Before I head off to lunch, I want to put this vid from YouTube up. Sorry love if you get teary eyed over this but I just had too, sure you all know why.

Simply Awesome...

I can only imagine the level of preparation the people had to go through, and it has been happening all over the globe! Check out the one in Bucharest, Romania, equally as awesome. But as usual, we Malaysians want to dip our toes into everything and at times tend to take almost everything out of context and well, just able to make it suck however noble our intentions are.

Nice try but kinda fail...

If you actually see the video, notice 2 things: Flash Mob where will have banner saying 'Flash Mob'? (but I guess they had to else the police/ISA will catch them for illegal gathering!) and the tempo of the song is soooo S-L-O-W. Aih, true to the spirit of Malaysia, apa pun boleh.

But all in all, notice how because of 1 man, people who otherwise won't know each other are able to come together and do something for a good cause even in Malaysia. Yet, this only happened because of the saying : we never know what we have until we lose it. How true...

Lost In Translation...

Seems like anyone can accuse anyone of anything just because they can't understand what that person is writing. And when I say 'can't understand' I mean they do not understand simple English yet they can accuse and English written article of insulting Islam when in fact, after being translated and read to someone who has good understanding in Malay, says that there is nothing wrong with it.

Meaning to say just because I don't understand English, but I read your article and I think you are insulting my religion, therefore I shall accuse you of insulting my religion and call the cops on your ass.

Like MJ said, or what the creators of South Park made MJ said, 'you're just ignorant'.

And the government wants to change teaching Maths and Science in English back to Malay (wait, they change back already right?). Serious FAIL on so many education levels. I seriously pity the fools kids of tomorrow...

http://www.thehollywoodnews.com/thn/assets_c/2009/05/MrT15-thumb-500x500-297.jpg
I pity the fool...

Well, this comes from a place where someone who has been found guilty of bribery gets elected as MP where as in China, the same offence gets death by firing squad. Ah well, in Bolehland, apa lan pun boleh lah!

Wonders Of The Human Body...

Was suppose to become ah long for my dad Saturday, collect rent from tenants that have not paid for 2 months liao! Thing is, its in freaking USJ damnit!! I sempat do this on Facebook:

Sad man... not even 1 comment or like :(...

But as you can see, there are no kind souls on Facebook, just soulless, lifeless people playing Mafia Wars :P (ok ok, myself included!). So initial plan fail, postponed to Sunday cos hey, tenants should be around on Sunday right?

However, I wasn't sure if it was the kangkung belacan or the numerous drinks of JW or a combo of both that gave me food poisoning today!

Now usually I wouldn't talk bout gross out stuff like projectile spewing here but today was something ... well, fascinating to me. Woke up at 10.10 am for throw up #1. I thought it was done , most of it came out though surprisingly neither kangkung nor rice were seen, just the Oreos I had before bed (and we all know what colour Oreos are!)

http://www.flatrock.org.nz/topics/education/assets/oreos.jpg
It looked like a scene from some alien show man...

Here's where the fascination begins, went back to sleep and an hour later, exactly at 11.10, throw up #2 begin! And again at 12.10! Walao, didn't know wanna throw up oso got timing wan... -.-'' And at around 1pm I was already up and on standby d. And like clockwork, 1.10 +- few mins, #4 came -.-'. Think there was nothing left in my stomach liao cos luckily time #5 didn't happen.

Was seriously thinking of going to the doctor had I been in the toilet at 2.10pm. Zhou said virus geng, can know to stop before I go see doctor -.-'. And I knew I was on the road to recovery when 3.10 and 4.10 came and went and nothing happened!

Seriously, timing so geng wan meh?? Oi, future doctors, diagnose can mou? :D

On another note, I have to admit that Yong was right when he said Kung Fu Cyborg was chun (summore coming from someone who has maybe 5% language proficiency in Canto) . As usual none of us believed him at first, but then I said what the heck, might as well download since got nothing to download for now. And whaddya know, 5 minutes into the show already I was laughing my ass off!!

I think those who understand Canto fully will have a much funnier time. Fight scenes were a bit corny and fail in the graphics department but hey, it ain't Hollywood right? Heck, the cyborg even had a move from Bleach : Getsuga Tenshou!

http://en.cnci.gov.cn/PicLib/2009325103950957.jpg
Bleach readers/viewers watch out for this fight scene...

Well, I think that's all for now, no EPL this weekend so no footie rants. But seriously, next week if Ben Foster plays, I think we will lose -.-'.

Love Thy Neighbour? Pt 2...

As well all know by now, our 'friendly' neighbour was hit by yet another earthquake a couple of days ago. And sure enough, we, us, yes I did say US, as good neighbours offered unconditional help. Even Air Asia gave away free tickets here for those who want to do voluntary work there. But this also goes without saying that Indonesia was already expecting help from us as they think its our obligation to love thy neighbour.

http://images.mirror.co.uk/upl/m4/apr2009/7/2/bad-neighbours-pic-rex-992221888.jpg
Gimme back my batik sarong you tosser...

However, this comes in the wake of the Indonesian government accusing us, yes US again, of stealing several cultural 'things' from them. From batik, to the wayang kulit, to keris to the Pendet dance and even to spices such as turmeric! They want to chop Indo on turmeric!! So putting it simply, they accuse us of stealing yet they want our help! WTF!

If any of you read today's (Sunday) The Star Focus section (middle part there), *found the article, click here*there was this interview between a Malaysian journalist and some Indo party member claiming they want to attack us Malaysians on our home soil! How? He claims that the message has already been sent to the 1.4 million Indo workers here to bomb/destroy/burn down their work place. From maids to labourers to professionals!

If in Malaysia, how would the ISA react?...

And they even have checks in Jakarta, though I don't think they have permits, to see if you are a Malaysian. If you are, they claim to just tell you to 'go home'. Why all this hostility lah? Well we did give them 2 terrorist in Noordin Mat Top and Azahari Husin which in the eyes of the world, were from Indo... And he did claim that the Indo workers here were unfairly treated and often beaten by the authorities. Hello??!! That even happens to Malaysian citizens ok!! Oh, he also claims those attacks will happen on Oct 8. So we see how la...

Well, not only Indonesians are taking shots at us, even Singaporeans are claiming they have the rights to Bak Kut Teh, Chilli Crab and Hainanese Chicken Rice!! Oi! Tiu nia ma.. I have the right to Hainanese Chicken Rice ok cos I AM Hainanese! I think I should sue them and claim the dish as our own!! HAH!

http://www.3-meals.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/09/dsc_0014.JPG
I'll cry if I can't eat this anymore...

On hindsight, we Malaysians also decided to 'play' with the neighbour's kids in the mud pond by wanting to claim the rights to nasi lemak, laksa and char kueay teow! Aih, can't we all live in peace if not for the sake of harmonious relationships between neighbours then for the sake of food?? Next thing you know they will outlaw any non Malaysian food here, non Singaporean food there, and non Indo food there..

I don't think I have any Singaporean friends to offend though I do have relatives there and Daryl is working there, though he is pretty much suffering... and the only Indo friend I can think about is Yong's Indo Maid! So I don't think I'll be attacked rite? LOL

Feeling The Earth Move Under My Feet...

Can't seem to remember the title of that song. But today I experienced jakun moment #231: Feeling my first tremor. Was about 6.20 pm I think and I was playing my guitar pretty loudly when I felt like a gentle rocking motion on my chair. Than I remembered my chair is just a normal plastic chair and not some Osim massage chair!

Usually I get this feeling when I had either one too many drinks or high on shit. That kinda layan swaying motion. Then I looked at my water bottle and actually saw the water levels swaying from side to side! Couldn't confirm with anyone as I was the only one in the unit at that time. I thought how coincidental if it was an earthquake when I just finished watching a new episode of Heroes where a new character has the ability to shift the earth!

http://images.buddytv.com/usrimages/usr-1/-1_9584977c-2dd9-448b-93e2-076c4af8177e-premiere20.jpg
Spoiler alert: He has 2 unique powers...

So I mou tiu till I saw this on Facebook:

Before seeing that I thought to myself if it was really an earthquake, for sure its gonna be from Sumatera. Shit, they giving us so much shit nowadays bout culture n food, now this oso they wanna send to us? So I went on my trusty Google and searched for any recent seismic activity and I got this from the USGS (United States Geological Survey) website:

Neighbours... aih, some are REALLY loud...

And then, just to confirm, I went to the online The Star website for news and got this:

7.6-7.9 on the Richter scale yo! And now after 2 hours I can see many massages popping out in Facebook bout it. LOL..

When I think of earthquakes, I always imagine it like the videos or documentaries you see on NatGeo or DiscChan with shelves rocking, ceilings cracking and things start to fall apart. But this was rather calm like. Like a gentle nudge from nature saying, 'Hey you there, wake up'. So can say a bit the anti climax la.

So there, my first 'earthquake' experience *check*. Hopefully all will be well when United play tonight against Wolfsburg!

When Boredom Sets In...

While it has been quite an uneventful past week, I can't say I was bored or had nothing to do. I think the series season in Hollywood (the real Boleh-land IMHO!) starts with the end of the Emmy Awards. And since that just happened a week ago, an avalanche of show I follow have begun the new season!

I knew I watch a lot of shows to begin with, but in 1 week I manage to download new episodes of : Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, House MD, Criminal Minds, The Simpsons, The Mentalist, Fringe, CSI: Vegas, Californication, Heroes, Dexter and Two And A Half Men! Thats not including series that are currently running like Hell's Kitchen or those still on a break like 30 Rock, Weeds and Breaking Bad! Talk about being a couch potato... Thankfully I don't have to wait for normal tv to show cos face it, half of em we will never be able to see cos of you know what/who. At least they haven't gotten to the net yet, the last resource for free media!

Take Breaking Bad for example, its a show about a Chemistry teacher who has a PhD in Crystallography (or something like that) who one day finds out he has lung cancer, so in order to pay for his medication and leave some money for his family in case he dies, he decides to cook and sell crystal meth! And the lead actor for the show is non other than Hal, Malcom's dad of Malcom in The Middle! He even won an Emmy for best actor in a drama series! How I wish there was a degree in watching tv series, 1st class honours I tell you!!

From Hilarius Crazy Dad To Scary Crazy Dad...

And well, another weekend of football action came and went, Ryan Giggs is really surprising us fans with his masterclass performances week in week out. Many of us would think this would be his final season and one to slow down a notch. Many yet thought that he didn't deserve last years Player of the Year Award. But with performances like that not just against Stoke but almost every game this season, I think he just might win it again at the ripe age of 36!!

Though the most surprising thing was Chelsea losing 3-1 to Wigan in a match where Humpty Dumpty (Peter Chech) got sent off! Good news: obviously chelsea lost, bad new: No fantasy points for Lampard. Speaking of which, with Torres scoring a hattrick against Hull, I saw my fantasy rank drop 5 places cos all those who had Torres jump up the table like kangaroos on steroids! But luckily Darren Bent manage to come up with 2 goals and 2 assist for me to climb back up! See, how else would u see me supporting Sunderland if not for Fantasy Football!

Where was Turnbull when Humpty Dumpty was sent off?

Oh well, with classes only once a week I guess I do really have nothing to do. With the new Football Manager still a month or so away, I succumbed to Zhou's and Klip's and a few others endless post on Facebook bout Mafia Wars. I wasn't such a big player going around adding people, but I was so bored last night I was randomly adding peeps from fan sites. Jeez, what I do to burn my free time...

When Tears Roll Down...

I seriously laughed so hard when watching the video below, tears formed in my eyes and my stomach began to hurt!

And what does Bellamy do when his team loses?

What happens when you don't win even by scoring 2 goals...

Wonder if the FA will slap him with a 3 match ban. From 9 strikers to 1. Serious FAIL! Too bad I don't know any City supporters to gloat to!

Love Thy Neighbour?...

Wow, what an exciting derby game. And I thought the match last week was the best match so far. 4-3 final score, with Rooney again getting the early goal. And the match winner came from Micheal Owen! I already told Zhou that Owen will score the winner, but he wanted Rooney purely for fantasy points -.-'.

Though a bit controversially timed at 5 min and 30 seconds when the allocated amount of stoppage time was 4 minutes, I don't think ANYONE will say we didn't deserve it. Already read many non united supporters (obviously) saying United played with the ref on their side or that refs are scared of Fergie or Old Trafford. Fuck that! What about the times that the ref was against us? Spurs should've had a penalty against Chelsea but the ref didn't give it.So?

Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney
Tevez must've been wishing he'd stayed...

Carlos Tevez got the reception he deserved though didn't expect. Actually I was kinda surprised, I didn't expect him to get cheered or an ovation but certainly I wasn't expecting him to get booed! Well, that's exactly what happened though he ALMOST silenced us when he hit a shot against the woodwork. Try again next time Carlos.

But the defense today was high on weed I think. 2 shambolic errors by Foster and Ferdinand of all ppl gifted City with easy goals. Though Bellamy's second was unstoppable. Still, Ben as a long way to go to become United no. 1 let alone England no. 1.

Our new hero...

Speaking of Bellamy, apparently after the match, a fan invaded the pitch and after he was pinned by the police, Craig thought it would be a good idea to layeth' the smack down on him! Wonder if he'll get banned!! Hahaha and City will only have a half fit Tevez!

So, post match Fergie gave a trademark comment, "We have a neighbour, and sometimes neighbours are noisy, but we showed our power today and we get on with life." Power? Fergie Hadouken Huges ah?

Take that...

After several minutes of MS Paint, finally got the picture nicely done :D.

Some People Must've Been Disappointed...

Recently, I've been noticing my FeedJit widget showing users from places such as Japan, India, New Zealand, the US and even France! Now I do have quite a few friends who are spread out across the globe but I certainly don't know anyone currently in those places! Heck, even the India one already come back :P

I have friends, but not THAT many friends...

And funny thing is they were all pointed to one topic: Best Merdeka Ever... So out of curiosity, I Googled 'best merdeka' and wouldn't you know it, the number one, well I claim it to be number 1 cos its at the top :P, choice is this:

Could almost show how I felt bout the country in its description!...

Haha, I kinda reckon that actually these people are 1) Malaysians who are away during merdeka celebrations so they want to find out the best merdeka celebrations this year, 2) Malaysians studying abroad during assignments on their national day. Think they were expecting fireworks, parades, floats, etc. But when they found out it was just an eating spree by 8 guys, boy they must've been thinking 'Oi, wtf is this!'. LOL!!

Anyways, today I tried to make pasta with some dried sauce. Wanted to call pyh but noob was in KL. So it was just for my family. Kinda miscalculated the portion so instead of for 4 it kinda was for 3. But luckily my mom is not a big lunch eater so she could share with my dad :D.

Simple ingredients for a simple dish...

Pretty simple actually, ingredients were just onions, garlic, tomatoes and olives and spring onions. Yes, at first I was, 'Mom, Italians where got put spring onions inside pasta wan'. But actually in the end, it did enhance the flavour!

Mmmmm..... bacon....

Oh, gotta have meat of course, and my 2 favourite pre-prepared types of my favourite animal to eat has gotta be bacon and ham! Seriously, how can anyone NOT like bacon and ham just cos their religion say it's filthy? haha, save that for another day :P. Though I did make a mistake by not frying the bacon til it was absolutely crispy >.<.
Kitchen alchemy at work...
But when you mix it all up, add some pepper and oregano, and 'hey presto', lunch is served! Somehow I realize I prefer bow pasta instead of the normal spaghetti, maybe cos its easier to cook and easier to eat :D.

Put some spring onions and coriander for deco and drizzle with olive oil...

Oh yeah, really looking forward to this weekends Manchester derby especially with Adebayor now out! Though I did say he deserved his actions, but actions do come with consequences. So 1 less striker for us to worry about :D.

*EDIT/UPDATE*

Still getting hits on the merdeka post so I went to my trusty traffic tracker to see what were those people actually googling about. Turns out it WASN'T bout our independence day but more of a sex scandal featured on Gutterpost. -.-'' . And turns out googling it will put that post 3rd on the search list. LOL!

And yes, I did mosaic the picture...

Hmm...

So my first semester at HELP Uni College is finally over. Had my last paper this morning and overall, I think I fared pretty well considering the 'kick you in the nuts' schedule. See, I had three papers in 2 days, thats not all, back to back summore! 2 papers yesterday and one this morning! During my TAR days, I've never sat for back to back papers let alone 2 in a day! Well, good thing is, its all over now, and I can enjoy my raya.

Yes, Hari Raya is this weekend, massive jam is predicted as usual, massive road blocks with cops looking for duit raya as usual, so remember to buckle up k. I wonder will this be the time to kick about a pigs head in front of a mosque? hahaha.

Right, I will be going home either today or tomorrow, and the thing I'm looking forward the most, believe it or not, is a hair cut!! Its beginning to get irritatingly thick d. -.-'. And main reason I don't get hair cuts here in KL is 1) I lazy wanna tell d barber how to cut my hair, cos face it, my hairdo you just can't go into d shop n tell d guy 'number 3 top, number 2 sides', actually used to during high school. 2) Most of the places here are hair saloons meaning chinese ah bengs giving u ah beng hair cuts. 3) with that, where can you find a RM8 hair cut in KL?

Orang tua at it again...

Well, last weekends football match was pretty thrilling. Tottenham did the usual mistake by scoring early against us. Cos usually, whenever a team scores early, like before 20 minutes, we do hit them back, pretty hard to say the least. Needless to say, I was astonished to see Giggs turn back the clock again and stick a sweet freekick into the top corner (Ronaldo who?). Anderson got his first goal from open play after 2 years!! And of course, my main man Rooney got a sweet nutmeg goal.

Showing em who's boss...

Though the biggest talking point of the weekend had to be Adebayor's celebration against his former club, sprinting the length of the pitch just to celebrate in front of them. Honestly, I think he should NOT be punished, cos face it, when he was at Arsenal, the fans were booing him. Now, who is having the last laugh huh? I just hope Tevez won't be fit enough this weekend to do the same. Wait, who am I kidding, we will totally end their run just like we ended Spurs'.

Though I wouldn't have to wait till the weekend to see em play again cos the Champions League kicks off tonight!! WooHoo!!! Yong, can u cheong watch late night matches? lol... though the match I am looking forward to most is the Inter vs Barca tie. Who'd have guess that Zlatan and Eto'o will face their former clubs the same summer they were traded away. With both of them scoring last weekend, this promises to be a belter!

Owh, on another note, anyone still watching MTV and saw the latest VMAs? The one where Kanye West again went up on stage and made an ass out of himself, this time nearly making Taylor Swift cry. Well, not sure she gonna cry but surely stun dawg kao! Yes, the very same Taylor which sang the theme song for Operation CKT 2!! haha.. Not only that, apparently he dissed the late Patrick Swayze (yes, mr dirty dancing lost his fight against cancer. RIP dude) by saying "Yo Patrick Swayze, I know you just died and all and Imma let you finish, But Michael Jackson's death was the best one this year" on his Twitter. Back to the VMAs, I like Lady Gaga's music but certainly not her style, she showed up wearing a birds nest on her head!

Shit, the video of it on YouTube seems to have been removed. Or else you can see both the Kanye dissing Taylor and Lady Gaga's nest. Right, think its time I go and recharge my batteries to get ready for the game tonight!

Oi... WTF...

Funny how democracy works in this country. When DAP's Teresa Kok allegedly "advised" a mosque to turn down its volume during prayers, she was hauled up under the ISA faster than you can say 'ohmygodwhatthefuckBBQ' (OMGWTFBBQ, though i can never understand why BBQ is in this). They did release her after several days when they found out more substantial proof that she was not involved and the matter was not to turn down the volume during prayers but during ceramahs.

Then recently, when a town hall meeting was held to resolve the cow head issue in Shah Alam, some of its residents said that they were against the relocation of the temple cos it will be noisy and they do not like the smells. Where is the ISA then? One resident, a teacher!, also said that crime rates will rise if the temple was relocated there. Isn't this inciting racism? I thought teachers of all people should not only NOT be racist, but teach racial harmony to their students. No wonder I turned out like this :P.

Next, when candle light vigils were held, peaceful ones, with the singing of the national anthem to add, people got arrested, assaulted, and hulled away. And we all know what happened during the anti-ISA rally earlier last month. *Hint* tear gas, water cannons, crying kids, ripped shirts. People were charged under the ISA.

But when a group of people carrying a severed cow's head marching to the state office, banners, chants even spitting and kicking the head which is deemed sacred to the Hindu community, not a single blare of the sirens were herd, heck, road block also don't have. You'd think during this puasa month, more road blocks would be set up. ISA mana? It wouldn't take a genius to figure out that this is blatant racism. I have read that the people that were at the march was from the section of the ruling party of the nation, not the state.

I do wonder, what would happen if lets say hypothetically, one day, someone from the minority races kicked about a severed pigs head because of a relocation of a mosque. And one of its residents say the number of mat rempits will increase, what will happen to them? I wouldn't be surprised if they got dragged away by the ISA for a long long time.

After all, isn't one of the ISA's purposes is to prevent any racial disruption and to detain those who insinuate racial friction? Well, it is a fact that ISA is under the Home Minister, but when the home minister first comes out to support these 'protesters', saying they felt victimized and they had no intention of invoking racial tension, we can clearly see the double standards here. Oh, then he came out and said he was wrongly quoted in the press and now he wants those people charged in court!

Imagine those protesters thinking at first, 'tak pe la, we got support from home minister'. Then WHAM!, no more support, guess they're fucked now. These people never watch enough movies to know that they were merely pawns meh?

Btw, wasn't the first few things the PM said he'd do when he stepped into office was to review the ISA? Oh wait, I should've read properly, he said 'review' not 'change', not 'abolish', not 'suspend', just 'review'. Its like submitting a request to the exams committee to 'review' your failed examination paper, they said they review it but 99% of the time, after paying a nominal fee for the review, your result is still a fail.

I can go on and on but whats the point? More prominent figures have already done this and more yet things remain the same. We will be celebrating Malaysia Day pretty soon, will there be the slightest difference from now til then?

Oh well, its not like I hate the Malays, I do have Malay friends, good ones in fact. The Malay cuisine is delicious as well, with Hari Raya nearing, all those lemang, ketupat, rendang and curry is no doubt yummy. But as the Malays themselves say, 'Kerana nila setitik, rosak sebelanga susu'.

Best Merdeka Ever...

So our country celebrated it's 52 years of independence last weekend. While I couldn't give much of a rats ass bout the people running the country and their underlings who labels us as 'pendatangs' while the majority of shit comes from them, I do however, am very thankful of 2 things in particular. 1) The holidays - what other country can u have holidays for so many things? CNY off, Raya off, Deepavali off, Christmas pun off, New Year off jugak, Merdeka off. 2) Food. Mouth watering, orgasm in your mouth food that goes round 24/7. Except maybe New York, where else can you have pizza at 12am or roti canai at 3am?

So last weekend was a combination of both for 8 of us as Operation Char Kuay Teow 3 took place. Me, Yong, Zhou have been on previous 2 occasion while Drew and PYH both alternated 1 trip each while Soon, Philip and Dee were the 'virgins'. Siang was supposed to come but he got *insert whip sound* by Wei Nie :P. Now that most of us are already working, planning a trip like this doesn't come easy. So before I continue, I have to say that the following is my view of the story, our contract blogger (Philip) has already put up Pt 1 (with pt 2 comin soon I hope) while I'm sure one or 2 more of them will do the same.

Ops CKT 3 got underway...

Well, the trip to Penang was pretty much uneventful, oh except for the fact that Yong did not have the freedom of spamming his Korean songs cos I literally took over the music scene :D. Soon already MSN-ed me few nights before and asked me to save his soul. LOL. So that's what I did. Ah, a car ride with Avenged Sevenfold, Metallica, Dragonforce, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and pals beats K-pop anyday! Though we did gave him some chance and he did manage to play some songs when we slept. Though I swore I could hear that annoying Gee gee gee baby baby at one point...

Spot the pattern. Hint: 2 nuts and a banana...

Right, as I've mentioned before, this was gonna be a whirlwind trip cos seriously, 3 days and 2 nights in Penang is NOT enough. So early early already yong and me decided to just mass spam the best places in town, no aimless trips to the mainland, and no experimenting with RM16 loh bak :P. Which meant 1 thing first : THE char kuay teow @ Lorong Selamat. Yes, the very one I had dreams about. This time we stayed so near, we walked there so at least was able to burn some calories la. And judging by the reactions of the first timers, Dee esp, I won't be the only one :P. Zhou also told me when we stopped for a break at Tapah that the first meal has gotta be THAT Char Kuay Teow. Guess great minds do think alike huh?

Dee won't be having char kuay teow anytime soon after this...

So after stuffing ourselves with the mandatory #1 dish of the trip, we checked in to our rooms and the first thing I did was to see if there was ESPN on the tele cos that night was suppose (said 'suppose' cos of the Burnley game) to be the 1st big test for United when they took on Arsenal (more on that later...). Without wasting precious daylight, we headed off to site number 2 : Penang Road for some Cendol and Penang Laksa. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of assam laksa and I still think the cendol in Malacca pwns the one in Penang ANY day!

Its all about location, location, location...

Had a short nap in the hotel right after that before heading downstairs for dinner. Yes, this time we stayed right down the road from the famous Macallister Lane hawkers. Tried many things, some delicious, some ok-ok but none yucky! At the start of our trip, I think it was Yong who said, ' what happens in Penang stays in Penang cos we won't be meeting anyone else we know here'. Guess this is one of those times irony is the best term used. Yong n Zhou already saw someone they knew and right then I saw the smallest friend in such a big place I knew. Of all people, Wei Pinn bumped into us during dinner. Seriously what are the odds? Turns out that her radio company was suppose to have some sort of countdown the next day on the mainland. Sorry Pinn couldn't come, very far, not very patriotic :P

Group pic #1. Epic trip it was...

And at night we went for mandatory dish #2 : Frankie Pizza. The newbies questioned Yong when he mentioned this and I jumped straight into his defense. Told them that I too was once a skeptic, but after the first bite, I turned into a believer, worship that pizza man! lol... Next they asked, ' 4 boxes a lot leh'. Again, I told them to eat first then you'd wish you had more! After getting the pizza, we went to search for the elusive roti babi in Gurney Drive. Last trip round, every night we went there, not even 1 time was it opened, this time determined, our persistence finally paid off, well luck actually, 1 for 1. And when me n Zhou saw how the roti babi was being prepared I knew it was worth the wait. All that batter coating the bread, ready to be deep fried, artery clogging for sure! (not that any of the food we ate weren't).

I swear it's better than Pizza Hut, Domino's and Shakey's combined...

So pre match snacks was settled, no prawn sandwiches but one bite of the roti babi dipped in a special sauce and I could've sworn I heard angels singing XD (would've been 10x better if we'd eaten it at the shop). As we all sat down to watch the match, me n yong were left gutted when arshavin scored a goal which foster should've saved. Though we were lucky not to have conceded a penalty seconds earlier. Second half, same players, different attitude, Old Man Fergie was at it again, lighting firecrackers up the players' asses. When Rooney won and scored the penalty, I would've settled for the draw. But when orang tua Giggs swung in the freekick on the right touch line, few would've expected Diaby, who scored 2 goals in the last match, to head in what must've been the BEST own goal I've seen. Seriously, that was a GREAT header! So a win for us, Rooney scoring, things look rosy for United.

Get in there!!!! 4 in 4 now...

Right, second day, Dee was already like a crack head who hasn't taken a hit in a week. Jumping up and down for THAT char kuay teow. So off we went, another round of THAT kuay teow. After that, not knowing what to do, we went and search for CC for some gaming time. Seriously, with the X-sunway/monash students, it was inevitable that this would happen. Too bad PYH had to go back n study though we found out later on he was sleeping half the time -.-'. We actually found this CC nearby when we went to buy pizza the night before, had awesome package of 5 hours for RM6 only! So camped there for 5 hours and before we knew it, it was dinner time.

My future cardiologist will have a field day on this...

Picked pyh from the hotel and went to Nortrom Foodcourt for dinner where I had what was my personal mandatory dish #3 : Beef ball kuay teow. I swear, the only better one I've had was in Hanoi, where they called it pho bo We ordered the usual oh chean, satay, char kuay teow, Vienna sausages, etc. And this time round, I ordered something else, it had a long fancy name: omelet-somethin-something-formage, which was basically eggs, mozzarella cheese and ham. Usually I tend to stay away from western cooking at food courts, cos lets face it, who sells good western food at food courts? But seeing that the chef was some white boy and having the assumption of white boy = western country was good enough for me. And boy was that the best I omelet I had. Sadly no pictures of that, too engrossed in eating and the photographers for the trip was busy munching down their own yummies. Apparently the 5 hours for RM6 package at the cc was too much a temptation for us so after dinner, we went there. When it was time to leave, all we did was go home, showered, peng.

So the next day, it was time to pack up and leave d. Really didn't feel like leaving. And as with all things, everything leads back to the beginning. So 1 last round of THAT char kuay teow. Dee, Drew, Yong and Zhou had 2 plates, 1 for the road so they say, personally 1 dish was just right for me, any more and I'd be puking out gold :P. We left right after that fearing the long jam back to KL but surprisingly traffic was quite smooth with the exception of 1 or 2 slow moving traffic incidents. And given that that day was merdeka, and I already told them I had the perfect shirt (correct not?), we headed to Baskin Robbins @ Tapah rest stop to take advantage of the 31% discount thing. Somehow I kena con that only 1 pint of ice cream can get the 31% discount. I clearly remember ordering 2 scoops and still getting the discount. None the less, really enjoyed my Strawberry Cheesecake and Rum 'N Raisin flavoured ice cream. Was so full after that I skipped dinner altogether.

Group pic #2. We did answer the call of 1 Black Malaysia. Messege shirts ftw...

So there it is, Operation Char Kuay Teow 3 from my point of view. I may have left out somethings unintentionally, so do check out the other posts from the others for better picture. Yes, it was EPIC... filled with epic FAILS, WINS, PWNS and more. And yes, I've eaten my words (and so much more) bout saying 2 days in Penang is enough. Dee sent me a text the next day that sums it all up, ' Aih... melaka food... aih...' . For those who missed part 3, don't fret, part 4 should be coming. Only a matter of time nia...

*Note: credit to Drew and Dee for the pictures above.*
