I'm back from my blogging hiatus, not that i mentioned i'm on one but since i've been busy past couple of weeks, thought i should take a break oso la. So recent updates of mine : been pretty busy wait wait.. fucking busy with assignments and mid terms... Last week i had 3 assignments due and 2 mid terms. Machaohai!! But that was that n i can breathe slightly easier abit now la :)
I've been pretty left behind in terms of the dramas/series front. Heroes already got episode 11 and i'm still stuck at 6 :( . Don't la mention about House, Grey's, CSI , Lost, OTH ,etc,... Stupid classes on saturdays.. make me malas wanna go home.. But at least i'm still kinda updated on Weeds though .. season 3 d weh :).
Oh, anyone went to the MCR concert last weekend? Wonder how it went, newspaper say macam gempak ni.. I didn't manage to go cos of lack of funding plus kurang semangat.. was rainin the entire weekend weh. But i did manage to catch another underground metal concert near Taylors College last friday! And it was pure metal, no emo shit, pop shit , punk shit.. just metal to the core!! Was there mainly cos my roommate's cousin was playin. Yeah, the same one i mentioned last time. And still they rock. They gonna go into recording sessions soon and i can't wait weh!! The venue was some small place called nettoz and i don't know why its held there la. Even some of the bands agreed that the place wasn't that appropriate.
But hey, it was a blast none the less and by that i mean serious ear drum blowing music weh! This time around, i brought alicia to see what i've been talking about all the time about Indka and the drummer. I guess she was pretty much at aww la.. Weren't u dear? hahaha.. And after the show, we helped with bringing the band's equipment back to their studio sumwhere in Kelana Jaya. And seeing that it was like 1 am and the only place we could go take a leak was the CC nearby, i popped in la. And guess who i saw..... Donovan !!! machauhai, go all the way there in the middle of the night also can terserempak with hometown mates!! ahahah.. Rupa2nye he's doin he's industrial trainin around that area la. And wat was he doin online?? Utopia-ing.
Hmmm... looks like yong is being unbanana-fied. Are u gonna finally be better thn me dude? sure hope so since ur like learning chinese from china! Pretty soon u'll start to say something smart in chinese or curse in some high class sorta way that we wont understand.. O.O ... Oh well, still got some bananas here that i can still look down upon! muahahaha :P
This weekend got BIG BIG match.. MU against Liverpool... hopefully they will be exhausted from their do or die European Cup exploits while we don't suffer any freak injuries during training espacially to Roo, Cris n Carlos.. Louis can break a leg for all i care..
Alrite , guess thats enough.. freezin my ass (should i add fingers) off in the library now... Gotta go for class anyways..

HHmmmm.....
Finally i'm updating my blog. A little too long by my standards and i'm sure most of you agree. Thing is, there isn't really much to blog about anyways.So as a brief update, things are going fine in a sense that academic work is piling up like no tomorrow (i'm sure all of u know wat it feels like). And as of this very moment, my lecture was relieved early cos the lecturer had to attend some talk. Its only 830 at that time weh!! Next class is at 12. I should be happy but not quite though, cos Aly's will only finish at 10 and i'm suppose to meet her. *I'm not dejected that i can't go back and have to wait for u ok dear!*
So here i am in the depths of the college library Firefox open in one tab and Football Manager in another. Shit, i'm so early that even the newspaper in the library not even delivered yet weh!! Guess i'll just go Facebook some ppl la. Seriously, my facebook is getting one too many applications rite now, don't you think yours is?
Ah, what next, My Chemical Romance concert is drawing ever closer and i've yet to decide if i wanna go let alone buy my tickets. I don't think MTV got any contest for the malaysia leg as the only one i saw said 'open to residents of singapore only' in fine print -.- .. And i'm damn malas wanna call up radio stations la. Oh well, will see how things go.
This weekend i'm not so sure if i'm coming back malacca o not, part of me wanna come back cos got deepavali curry/mutton/rendang/stuff in my fridge with my name written on it + my dad's birthday cake (hopefully its still there la). But another part say "ah tak mau la, waste time ni.. + i could always follow my dear back to her hometown, its nearer and cheaper summore".
Christmas is also around the corner a month +2 weeks or so.. Should i start pondering what presents to get yet??
Oh, have u ppl, read kennysia's latest post yet?? Should go check it out man, another reason for me to 'love' my 'beloved' country.Dah le i'm trying to instill semangat kenegaraan in myself (for real weh!). And they dare say change back maths n science teachings to malay again. Kat, i'm sure u'll have a field day la. Ok ok, i'll put the clip here, but if u need 'subtitles' to understand wat the freakin hell is our minister (info minister lagi tu!) is saying, go to kennysia.com Oh, do check out the readers' comments both on that page and on the youtube page.. Imagine, information minister and can't even construct a proper sentence let alone pronounce the words correctly. And this is the person supposedly given the responsibilty to give info to outsiders/foreigners about our country. What la will they think about Malaysia now? Broom award forhis mouth him la. Its Been A While
Alrite, finally i have time and comfort to update my blog properly. I know i've been away far too long for my standards but hey, getting every busy around me la with college stuff and all. Speaking of college, duno why now my college seems more fucked up then ever. Usually we students are granted a maximum of 3 times to be absent from tutorial classes. But this semester, don't know which smart fucker went to suggest that instead of 3 times, we only get 3 hours... including lectures!! So that goes to say if i miss a 2 hour lecture, that counts as 2 times absent and i can't afford to miss another lecture or sure get barred. -.-'' Fucked... and its only for my School of Technology... KNNCCB!!
So with that being said, what else can i do but attend every class, every tutorial on every day! There goes my saturday weh.. Feels like i only have 1 day break and BAM, back to classes. ><.. But this weekend i've been lucky enough to come home though abit only for less than 24 hours. Reached home in time for a haircut and then slept before waking up in time for dinner and MU!!So sorry la ppl, no time to call u guys out this time. Maybe the next time k? Come back also mainly cos my girl went for Global Gathering Rave at A'Farmosa today... Still going on at the time of blogging. And she and her bro n frens wanna come down to malacca tomorrow for lunch.. Ape lagi but chicken rice balls.. Aiyo.. whats so facinating la??.. ahaha.. duno la.. Oh well, not like i'm gonna pass up that oppertunity rite?
Oh, the new Football Manager 2008 has been out for about a week liao. Not that much difference from the old one in terms of playing styles but never the less, I'm happy bout it. So guess i'll be camping more infront of my lappie now trying to be the next Jose la. Haha.. My dear said the 2 things i love in life is football and computers. Put two of them togather and i'm blissfully happy. Kinda true don't ya think? But don't worry dear, i still need u ;)
Hmmm... oh, i guess someone up there must have answered my prayers for more international rock acts performing here cos My Chemical Romance is slated to perform in Stadium Merdeka on the 9th of December!!! WOoohooooOO!!!! I for sure (well, 90% la) am going so anyone else wanna go? See ppl there perhaps? And if i'm not mistaken, Rock The World will be also somewhere around December. Lets just hope MCR concert goes on smoothly and no last minute pull outs unlike *gulp* Avril few years back.
Rite i guess thats pretty much bout it la... unless u wan me to go all mushy n stuff.. Didn't think so rite? haha... Anyways, i still need to finish up my project outline due on monday.. >.<~

New Semester.. Same Ol' F Uped Things..
Today my second semester commenced. Usually first week nothing much to do but my School of Technology is so freaking clever, they started tutorials first week d. Not that i'm complaining.. heck, after 3 years in this college, dah used to la. But what i'm more fucking tu lan about this sem is the time table. Macam sial...
Lets see, monday leh, only have 1 lab! Thats rite... 1 freakin lab from 9 am to 12 pm.... after that, i'm free the whole day.. no tutorials, no lectures.. nadda .. zlich... I should be happy rite?? Guess i should be la.. but 9 am.. fuck..spoil my whole weekend ni.. need to get back to kl on sunday.. aih.. looks like less time going back la.
Tuesday's timetable pretty standard, 8 am - 3 pm.. Acceptable la. Then comes wednesday.. again.. very the tu lan in a good way.. class from 9 am to 12 pm.. dats it! 1 bloody tutorial and 1 lecture.. Good rite? well, thing is other than that, no one else has classes!! See, the reason why i'm complaining bout the lack of classes now is because somewhere down the week, somethings gotta give in terms of classes rite??
Thursday classes still bearable, 8-4.. But friday, here's where the time table starts biting me back in the butt.. 9-6 with only 2 hours break!!.. Thing is.. friday... 6 pm end!! so much for coming back on fridays la. Then if that wasn't enough, Saturday i got lecture!! KNNCCB!!! 10 - 12 pm.. FUCK la.. we actually have the whole of wednesday free after 12 (every one weh!) and they had to put us on a sat la. If the college gives the excuse(which i'm sure they will) of no venue, shouldn't they put the juniors on a sat and give priority to the seniors?? GDMF la...
See, so sat i got lec till 12 and mon i got lab at 9. Do the math.. how la gonna go back to malacca this sem?? maybe skip once or twice acceptable la.. But if possible i don't wanna skip this lecture. Maths 8 weh.. And we all know how sucky i am at math rite.. And lab mia lecturer is fierce like harimau ni..
See... this sem is already starting to get off my back. And its only the first day!!! omg la..Rite.. in other news, F1 season must la go down to the last race of the season. Think got sum sort of conspiracy sial.. How come Hamilton can park his car on the gravel while turning into the pit lane???? Takkan with so many brilliant minds in the garage, not 1 can predict tire failure ah? Its brilliant for the neutrals la i suppose .. last race.. 3 horse race for the title. 7pts separating them. Oh well, we'll just have to wait n see in 2 weeks time whos crowned champion in Interlagos, Brazil.
Oh, Man Utd finally broke their 1-0 winning streak by trashing Wigan 4-0!! Finally we got our goal scoring touch back. Bonus is that all the scorers are the superstars of our future. And tevez got his second goal for the club after a real workhorse like performance. kudos to him.. now , lets proceed to the next game and hope we will trash who ever we come up again more than 1-0 without penalties! (we beat chelsea 2-0, but 1 goal was a Saha penalty so tak kira la..) Rite.. guess thats about it la for now...

My 1 Day Trip And A Lil Bit More
Yesterday, i made a trip up to PD to meet up with my girl and her friends for a 1 day thing. Actually, they had already planned this PD thing long time d, suppose to be sum girls weekend away la. But me only, go kacau... haha.. but hey, i'm not shy bout it. Actually, i didn't plan to go at all but after some persuasion by her, i thought 'what the heck, i'm gonna be bored stiff at home anyways'. And i've not been to PD in a long long time.. not since at least 5 years ago. Very the long.... so i thought it would be nice to go once more.
The beach , sand n sea..
So rite at the break of dawn, well, actually 915 liddat la, i set of on a 1 day trip to meet my girl (and her friends) at her dad's apartment there. The journey to PD was surprisingly fast. From toll to toll is about an hour or less and the total journey from my house to the apartments is only about 1 hour and 20 min maybe abit less. Well, i got there none the less... and to see my baby still in the piggy sleepy mode. But tengok2 her friends pula all up and chirpy already. hehe.. So after waiting for her to 'get up' and get ready, we finally headed to the beach.

It has been awhile since i've gone down to the beach (that days trip to the malacca beach tak kira la) just to walk into the sand and to actually swim in the sea. Felt kinda nice n pleasant feeling the sand between my toes and then going into the cool water. It was high tide but the waves weren't that big so we did go out quite far into the sea la. Don't actually know how long we spent in the water but i supposed it was long enough cos i started to get wrinkles on my fingers d. So we then bersantai on the beach where my dear was busy cam whoring herself and at times me. And after drying off, we went for lunch down the road to this indian shop.

We had banana leaf rice and it was quite tasty la. The price was also reasonable. 6.50 per person.. ok rite? Btw, anyone knows where in malacca has very good banana leaf rice? I know a few spots but not sure if that qualifies as the best yet... Hmmm.... Anyways, after lunch went back to her place where i had to take a nap. Was damn tired due to watchin MU beat Roma 1-0 (again..) earlier in the morning. But when i woke up, it was already time to go home.. I didn't wanna go, but i guess i had to cos i needed to jaga/feed the dog at home. At least this time when i left i tak emo la. :x... Thanks baby for inviting me there ;). Guess that was the last time seeing her before college starts again.

Anyways, today pula went out for dinner with don, leo and su ling (kate as she is known to ppl who don't know her :P) . We went to this asam pedas place inside the Pasar Borong. At first i was like "wtf, inside pasar borong got sell food??". Oh well, decided to give it a try since don n leo say it is quite nice. And i have to say, after eating it, it is... Don't think its the best but still, NICE!! The fish was served in a claypot and rite before serving to us, they heated it up so when it did came, it was still bubbling!! Hot and spicy, simply nice weh..

Then after dinner, we went for sum coffee at the coffee house near jonker. This time round, i had some banana cappuccino ice blended thing. Tasted quite the delicious lo IMHO although su ling thought it tasted weird :-S. Thing i like about this place is when u order coffee, you get coffee and kao kao coffee i might add.. And its sweet but not too sweet till can get diabetes la. So can consider this place as one of the places i like to hang out la. Only draw back is its in town and price.. abit the expensive la.. Not too much like Starbucks or Coffee Bean though.. :D Next time you come down dear, i'll take u here k ;).

Surprise, surprise...
Just when my previous post was whining about not meeting my dear, something out of the blue happened last weekend. What was it? Well, she decided to pay me a surprise visit .. literally!! I knew she was suppose to come down on sunday so when we were sms-ing on saturday morning, and she said she had a surprise for me. I wondered what could it be la, never would i have thought dat the surprise she meant was her in a bus heading to Melaka Sentral!
I was like omgwtf !! And this time, it was in a good way (not often huh) :D. So dengan pecutnyer i went to pick her up from there lo. And the thing is, she actually planned this few days in advance already but buat cool only when i ask her wat she was doin, can say lookin at the ceiling at home. But before the party, i already planned with jo, siang, drew n jac (sesat kan?) to play pool in the afternoon. So she also joined us la. Whooped my ass at pool for a few games didn't u dear? haha.. Then later on for the party she met more ppl.. more of u guys! And i have to say, i'm very the happy that she didn't feel awkward or anything la. And i'm glad that she enjoyed herself there dat nite. I know ppl like may, leo, su ling and i think yong (to n extent) complaining that they berbulu reading my previous posts, but u ppl know me rite, what the fuck do i care? :P.. haha..

Anyways, the next day was all about making her the tourist to malacca and me being the tourguide la. One thing coming to malacca la, like i've said many many times already, theres nothing to play here.. only eat eat eat and see those historical places. And luckily for me, she wanted to do just that. So took her to makan chicken rice balls followed with cendol which i think caught her by surprise due to the richness in it. Then went down jonker street for some seeing and shoppin.
Then later in the evening, we went to the beach cos she wanted to see wat malacca beach is all about. Told u it wasn't as nice as PD rite dear? Wanted to take her to eat satay celup for dinner but we got there like 615pm and it was already full!!.. knn, malaccans have no life issit??.. or freakin tourist!! >.<... so to plan b, best tandoori around. Where else but Pak Putra. hehe.. We did take photos but it'll be the same as last time i went + her blog sure got wan.
But i guess going this time with her is always an exception eh ;)
And the next day, armed with may's camera, Oh, thanks may for borrowing us ur camera ya, this are wat BFFs are for eh :). We went to those historical sites la... Drove pass the state museum (malas wanna find parking) but we did go to the A'Farmosa (again....) and did the usual camwhoring thing. haha.. But not before eating the laksa (again mentioned in the last last post) near X-southern hospital there. Making things short, we went 2 play pool again afterwards before going to eat beef noodles opposite pool center. Think this was one dish which she can say malacca does not win over seremban eh? hahaha..
So as the day drew to an end, so did her visit here. Had dinner with her at A&W in Sentral before watching her go up that bus back home. I'm used to be the tough guy around rite and emotionally rock solid but seeing her go was kinda bit hard for me to take. I know its not like we wont see each other again.. but its just that feeling la. It was great great fun having her here. Really could use the company. It'll be another 1 week till i see her again. By then, classes will already be undearway. Baby, i hope i made ur visit here as enjoyable and as pleasant as possible ya. If i left out anything, we'll get em next time k ;). So this was a really pleasant surprise all together and i think the best sem break yet!! :D. Love u dear!!

Its Been 1 Week..
1 week since (well, almost) since i've came back home for the holidays. Over the past one week, i've been doin nothing more than eating, watching tv, going online and playing pool. Seriously, its been like this almost every other day. Of cos there are the phone calls and smses to my dear which keeps me sane. I'd go totally mental if i don't have any contact with her weh.. haha.
Well, just came back from the movie 'Hairspray' with siang , jo, drew and jac (yes jac, entah sesat mana dia datang.. haha). I have to say, for someone like me who totally dislikes The Sound of Music nor find anything nice bout High Skol Musical, this movie was pretty good weh. I think the key was they didn't go overboard with all the dancing and all. Kept it pretty realistic and entertaining la. Even jo also agreed it was entertaining. So definitely a show worth watching if u ask me. Only thing i keep wondering bout musicals like this : do the actors/actresses really sing in their own voice? If so, Michelle Pfeiffer really can sing well!
On another note, one more week till school starts... another week till i get to see my baby again.. wait, i'll be seeing her sooner than that i hope. Oh, new season of Heroes started already!!!... Gonna grab it from jo tomorrow before heading of to play pool again! haha.. yes, i have no life. What to do, i'm on holidays wat. And there will be ho chun's birthday party to attend to later on tomorrow nite with MU having a late game. hmmm... hopefully i can get back before kick off!

Best Laksa in Town?
This morning, Jo, dee, liang, nara and me went to eat brunch at this place near x-Southern Hospital there. I forgot the name d, and silly me forgot to take pic of the shop sign board incase this would happen. Anyways, we decided to come here to eat because me and jo agreed that this was the best place that sells curry laksa in malacca!. Although he instead ate his fishball kuay teow..
MMmmmMM... delicious~~!
For a big portion that cost only 3 bucks, i think it was damn worth it weh. The soup was thick and full of santan, there was crunchy foo chok , lots of shrimp (sorry baby, dont think u can eat unless u bring ur meds), fish paste and other yummy stuff... Syok weh, simply syok.. don't think i've eaten any better. But i'm sure sumwhere someone is gonna prove me wrong la.. But oh heck, til dat day comes..
I could eat this every day for lunch and still wont get bored
Then after that, we sent nara to work and of all places, he works for a company in Senyum. So naturally, we went to play pool there la. hehe.. Played pool yesterday as well and after that had tea with leo su ling and don at d usual mori cafe.. i damn malas wanna go so far.. no money summore.. aih... Oh, watched the big game last nite at nara's house with the other 3 ppl. Finally we scored more thn 1 goal per match! Hooray!! and finally Tevez broke his scoring duck! hooray again!! was seriously thinking if he was gonna be another Forlan. And chelsea can go bite the dust now... The new manager is so noob.. haha.. couldn't have faced them at a better time :)

Rite, so thats pretty much what happened so far the time i've been back here la. I need to get fit n in shape this holidays. My love has been posting so many sweet and heart touching things bout me. My New Toy
My new toy!~! .. happy!!
Finally i'm back in Malacca, although i thought i had came abit too soon la. Don't think i spent enough time together with alicia yet though. Anyways, first thing i looked for when i got back was where o where was the mp3 player. Opened my cupboard and there it was... Me being the tech geek inside couldn't help but smile when i saw i got a Creative Zen Micro 5GB for only 150 bucks weh!!.. Terus open and set it up on my laptop with out doin anything else.

The one i got was orange in color. Personally, i would've liked black or blue or red. But when for the price my dad payed, can't complain really. Its taking like forever to charge rite now but i was able to insert a few tracks and test out wat it had to offer. Erm, navigating through this mp3 player was kinda breeze for me cos i have played with this before at my cousins place la. And i'm very the satisfied with the quality and user friendly-ness of the player. Who needs an iPod now eh?

Rite, don't wanna bore u guys with that tech stuff. Not much happening really, just got back and i still don't know wat i'm gonna eat for dinner. McD's a convenient option esp since my mom has the coupon thingi at home but i jz had that for lunch!!.. Argh.. here comes the 2 weeks of distance between me and her. Sucks to the max but wat to do, sacrifices have to be made rite. Baby, the past few days that we've spent together was nothing short of wonderful... thanks for everything :D If we could carry on just like this, i'd be happy.. Oh, and its been one month to the day that i made that fateful move on her (no i didn't mencabul her)... So, happy one month sweetie and loads more to come.. don't think we need to keep track of the months from now on huh?.. muaks!!..

FInally its over...
After 14 weeks and another 11 days of exams, i've finally completed the first semester! Which means.... H-O-L-I-D-A-Y!!! Woohoo~!! But this time, i only have like 2 bloody weeks nia. This is one of the few reasons why i so don't like my college.. mahai betul.. What can i do for 2 weeks la?? O.O..
I'm still in KL now, won't be coming back till friday i think. Whos back this weekend? Just feel like staying at home and bertapak infront of d tv 24/7. hehehe.. Oh, my dad bought a creative mp3 player for me. 5GB for about 150 bucks!! :D.. Haven't got to see it yet but for sure i'll have my very first device review here! :).
Sad thing bout holidays this time is with me being back in malacca and alicia being back in her hometown, we'd be apart for 2 weeks.. :(.. i know i know... its nothing rite? But hey, we just started so we need to be together to build a strong foundation rite? ... hmmm.. how ar... how... hmmm.. But at least now i'm spending time with her before friday comes along la. So at least its something rite? :D

At The Halfway line
Satay Kajang away from Kajang
3 papers down d. Think i've already thrown one into the dustbin to be recycled next sem. Aih.. Lemahnyer with all this maths papers. But i think ppl like Yong n Dee will find my paper a piece of cake. Laplace transform, Vector calculus, double/triple integration.. piece of cake rite guys? haha. But luckily, i had my girl who was so kind enough to help me release stress (Folks don't think sideways plz). She cooked for me weh!! (more of that below). But the day before that paper n stress, she gladly accompanied me to had dinner .. but all she had in mind was satay..

There's this restaurant behind my condo selling satay, Kajang satay. Everytime we pass there surely pack to the brim wan. Was always wondering whats so great bout it la. So 2 nites ago, decided to give it a try. Hmmm.. at 60 cents per piece, i guess it was pretty decent la. We ordered 10 chicken n 10 beef sticks. Verdict? The satay itself wasn't that much to shout about, can get better more succulent ones out there. But the kacang sauce was top top class!!
Can't get enough of the kuah.
At first i wondered why did they give 2 ppl one big bowl of sauce when it usually is those small small kiam siap ones. But after having one bite of satay with it, i practically wanted to dip everything into the sauce before eating la. Even the bloody cucumber also was not spared k! hahaha.. The nasi goreng kampung we ordered also we ate with the sauce. By the end of our meal, i think we cleaned that bowl dry la. hahaha.. oh, did i mention yet that the satay itself was ok?? Haha.

The next day, Alicia decided to pay her kak angkat a visit in Bangsar. And yes, me also followed lo. By the time we reached there it was already late evening so she decided to go to Bangsar Village shopping center to pick up a few things for dinner. Yes, she cooks.. And nice food as well! So after picking up some meat n vegetables, we walked back to the house.

According to her, dinner was to be a 4 course meal with one of her fav. dishes just for me. Awww.. that so sweet dear. But on one rule la, i kenot kacau her while she's cooking. But knowing me, where la i can keep still rite? (well i did till the kao aroma came out of the kitchen la). So i did wat most if not all camwhores do : Take pics of everything in the moment. Haha..
In the end, she whipped up black pepper chicken, chili beef, sardines and beans. It had been quite a long time since i've had a wholesome 'family' dinner.

Well, my dear, i think ur food tasted great. I'm not saying this because that ur my girlfriend n all but from a person who lives to eat, it does taste yummy! Thanks dear for the awesome dinner. Love u to bits !! Now i expect more of this in the near times to come huh ;). hahaha. The rest of the nite was spent with me in front of the tv while she and her kak was busy exchanging stories and doing god knows wat la. Dang, i should've been studying at home but oh well, don't think that would be any different le.

Came back today. Was like a one day get away from all the stress. I would love to do this kinda stuff again. Why not considering that rite behind the house is Bangsar weh.. where there is practically everything and anything within walking distance. Ppl there we see all dress up nice nice where as me and alicia just dressed selekeh when we go mamak there. Hahaha.. Rite .. now think dinner is calling me soon... then i'll resume my studies.. 4 papers left.. gg-ness... >.<

Time To Die....
Waaa... i'll be officially starting my exams in less thn 24 hours. Well, about 14 la to be exact. Tomorrow got paper, sat got paper. GG man.. But i have been studying the whole day with my girl. Thanks baby for keeping me company. If not i'm sure i still will be jz lazing around staring at the ceiling. hahaha..
Well i guess this will be just a short short update, still need to go cramp notes n stuff into my thick skull >.< ... Oh btw, for those of u who are interested, my alicia has a blog as well ( blog promo here). The link is by the side.

Hmmm, to summarize my situation so far, life as a student = dying soon, life as a Man U supporter = getting better, we won 2 games in a row.. now we have a goals for of +2 and goal difference of +1!! :D , life as a boyfriend = superb , never felt this loved before!! And i've gotta say, i love her too.. awww... But seriously now, i do. So total up all in all.. i guess its pretty much alrite. Can't wait for the freakin exams to be over.. startin to blog crap d.. arrghh..

1 Long Day Out...
The day b4 yesterday, me and my babe went to the Aquaria KLCC with Wallace and his girl. It was actually quite a sudden decision to go there cos initially, the both of us were actually shoppin in Times Square (well, she was la, i pula tag along ni) and then Walls called me and ask wanna go, of all places, Aquaria KLCC.. I thought well, why not, since we're already out and all rite?

So we took d monorail from Times Square to Bukit Nanas and in the spirit of exercising, and she said it was more romantic *awww*, we walked from d station all d way to KLCC!. Wasn't that far a walk actually. After a don't know how long a walk it took, we finally reached klcc and after waiting awhile, met up with the other couple.

The ticket pricing was actually quite expensive considering what we manage to see. But i suppose with all the funds used for maintenance, bills and rent of the whole place, i shouldn't be surprised la. So for those to plan to go in the near future, please remember to bring along ur 1) MyKad 2) Student card. Cos if u show ur MyKad, u get a 10 buck discount, and if u show ur student card as well, u'll get another 8 bucks off!!.. So in total, instead of payin 38 bucks if i'm a foreigner, i just paid 20 cos i'm a student. Sweet eh.
Fishes fishes and more fishes
Well honestly if u ask me, i don't think there was much to shout about this place. Reminds me of Underwater World in Singapore and sum say same like in Langkawi. We did see alot of BIG ass fishes that i'm sure if i were to encounter them while swimming in the sea or river, i'd freak out for sure!! And oh, most of the marine fishes are exactly like the cast from Finding Nemo. Like most other fish shops these days, u'll get to see all the same small small fishes like the clown fish la, dori fish la, etc. But the one thing u can't get from any pet shop are the turtles. They look so
like the ones in the movie!

Hmm, there was the normal perplexed glass tube thing where u stand on a conveyor belt and it takes round the aquarium. I don't know whether its me watching too much National Geographic n Animal Planet but i don't seem to be amazed or impressed by the variety of fishes swimming over there lo. There were the normal sharks, rays, groupas, moray eels and those marine fishes swimmin about. But can really say they are well fed and well looked after la. All of the fishes are so big!!.. laweh... but there was a notice on the tank saying it could grow up to 30% bigger in the wild! O.O

I don't know how much is there to say bout this but as a whole, its not worth 20 bucks la IMHO, 15 maybe... But if u have 20 bucks to burn, then go ahead la. But i suppose since i went with my girl, anythings worth it eh :P. Oh, but after that we went to watch a movie.. And of all movies, we went to see Impak Maksima... -.-. don't ask.. it was 3-1 vote.
Stingray.. everytime we see this, all we think is 'ikan bakar'!!
Dunno la the movie.. was okkkkkk.. lawak as usual, lawak bodoh.. Acting was ok... normal malaysian standards la.. But don't think its as nice as sum Malay movies (sepet, gubra, etc) Erm, cgi and stunts though.. leaves much much much to be desired... ah well, its malaysia, semua pun mau. Malaysia boleh rite?

Fishes fishes and more fishes
Well honestly if u ask me, i don't think there was much to shout about this place. Reminds me of Underwater World in Singapore and sum say same like in Langkawi. We did see alot of BIG ass fishes that i'm sure if i were to encounter them while swimming in the sea or river, i'd freak out for sure!! And oh, most of the marine fishes are exactly like the cast from Finding Nemo. Like most other fish shops these days, u'll get to see all the same small small fishes like the clown fish la, dori fish la, etc. But the one thing u can't get from any pet shop are the turtles. They look so
like the ones in the movie!

Hmm, there was the normal perplexed glass tube thing where u stand on a conveyor belt and it takes round the aquarium. I don't know whether its me watching too much National Geographic n Animal Planet but i don't seem to be amazed or impressed by the variety of fishes swimming over there lo. There were the normal sharks, rays, groupas, moray eels and those marine fishes swimmin about. But can really say they are well fed and well looked after la. All of the fishes are so big!!.. laweh... but there was a notice on the tank saying it could grow up to 30% bigger in the wild! O.O

I don't know how much is there to say bout this but as a whole, its not worth 20 bucks la IMHO, 15 maybe... But if u have 20 bucks to burn, then go ahead la. But i suppose since i went with my girl, anythings worth it eh :P. Oh, but after that we went to watch a movie.. And of all movies, we went to see Impak Maksima... -.-. don't ask.. it was 3-1 vote.

Dunno la the movie.. was okkkkkk.. lawak as usual, lawak bodoh.. Acting was ok... normal malaysian standards la.. But don't think its as nice as sum Malay movies (sepet, gubra, etc) Erm, cgi and stunts though.. leaves much much much to be desired... ah well, its malaysia, semua pun mau. Malaysia boleh rite?

The other side of me
Ok ok.. I'm not used to this kinda posts. Rite rite.. anyways, over the past few weeks (maybe even months o.O) i've been constantly bombarded by 1 question though asked in many brilliant ways.. but in d end comes down to "eh shi en, got girlfriend d ka?". Seriously, come kl kena, come melaka also kena, come cyberspace also kena. Can't u leave a man alone in peace?? Ah well, anyhow, the much awaited answer to u ppls questions is : yes, i do (finally) have a girlfriend. I've not been hiding anything from u guys, i assure u i haven't been keeping this a secret unlike previous times (ahh.. venom i taste).
Don't think i need to as i've realized dat good things like this don't come along everyday n its important that i share whats good in my life with everyone rite? So folks, i won't wanna bore u with the details cos i know you'll just ask the same things during dinner/mamak sessions :P. Anyways, what u would wanna know is dat her name is Alicia and she's also in the same college as me. See, even if i've dissed the 'types' of girls from my college in1 of my previous post, i did say there were a few of the minority out there rite? Hmmm.. She is of mix parentage.. I'll put it simply as Alicia = Chinese + Eurasian and not wat some of you think or have heard. *glares at a certain someone* :P. Oh well, some of u might already know i was going out with her but i still hang on to the fact that we weren't an item yet back then.. Main reason was.. I just wanted to be sure she's the right one. After all the bullcrap that happened in d past, can't help but feel a lil bit cautious rite? And i'm so very happy to say, i am sure that she is the perfect one for me :D

Our interest are almost similar... from movies, to music to tv shows, heck she even supports MU!! And NO, i'm not dating myself :P. Another interesting fact, she's a rocker! Well, drummer to be precise la. I think u ppl know i have a soft spot for girls who can rock rite?
Anyhow, besides all that, she's just a great bundle of joy to be with. Erm, how do i put it, she is just able to put a smile on my face each time she's around and whatever dark cloud dat is above my head will jz seem to fade away. There's also a sense of belonging and 'everything will be alrite' kinda feel when i'm with her. A new spring in my step, a reason to wake up in d mornin. All things great i guess. I can honestly say, she's the best thing that has happened to me la.. *according to H. Simpson* best thing so far.. I've found my other half!! And most importantly, she makes me happy. Jeez, i'm beginning to sound all mushy and i'm sure many of u are reaching for the bucket now...

Crunch Time..
My exam timetable came out 2 days ago. Good news : its only for 11 days. Bad news : 11 days for 7 subjects!!! O.O.. OMFG... mati la aku this time... panic panic.. haha.. Starts on the 7th of September and ends on the 18th. Then i'm free for another 3 weeks or so.. Wheee... Gotta start serious revision soon liao >.<>.<.. But i'll be back tomorrow la. Need haircut >.<.

I don't want to, but i can't help it...
Picked up todays Star paper, flip tru it till i reached the variety section which talked about Evan Almighty (which was the movie i just saw dat day) and i noticed a column bout a religious group in our country wanting this film to be banned! The muslim consumers association of malaysia was behind this citing the reason that this movie "poked fun at God and Noah". O.O ..... Holy shit.. what kind of obsurd backsidetrack thinking is this? Now i thought with my last post, i'm done commenting on 'weaknesses' facing this country but see, its rite there infront of us, how la not to say anything rite??
Now for the record, i'm not a christian nor a muslim but i've read the bible (kids version, long long ago) and can say i know a lil bout it la. But c'mon, this is a MOVIE... Can't they take this with a pinch of salt?? I don't (or at least haven't) read about Christian groups coming up and asking for this movie to NOT be shown. I think i'm gonna tackle a very sensitive issue here so i'll try to keep things as superficial as possible. I think (correct me if i'm mistaken ok) that Islam and christianity has similarities and maybe even some same stories abit with the change of names and other details la. But then, if ppl in America or other countries which christianity is d main religion don't take it as n insult? why must another religion do so?? The movie is ment to be fun, and sometimes to be funny, u've gotta poke fun at someone rite? Its a goddamn comedy for cryin out loud!! -.-''
But not all muslims are like that thankfully, in that extract, 2 ministers ( 1 from the cultral & arts and the other.. erm.. i forgot) supported the screening of the movie citing somewhere along the lines of that if u think its sensitive, than don't watch it la.Kudos to them.. And so, the movie did pass the local censorship board. For once, i'm happy with them.
Oh, and i think the SAME group tried to throw off Gwen Stefani's concert in malaysia which is due next tuesday if i'm not mistaken. Reason? Same ol' same ol' lo.. dressing too sexy la, conduct too improper la. I tell u, they'll do anyting if not everything to get western performers out of this country... (somehow i feel that my hopes of seeing MCR here is starting to fade to black). Its in the fridays paper. erm.. section 2 . Then in todays paper, the readers write/sms back to the editorial, some of em were clearly unhappy like me. For those who have The Star, go read it.. short , abit but true rite? For those who don't, this one person said "PAS, u dont allow concerts or karaokes in ur state, but why r d rape n HIV cases highest in ur state? Blame astro n ntv7?" . I like dat 1.. Anyway, being the kinda person that she is, Gwen said she'd respect and abide by the laws set here and try no tone down her show + wear xtra layers of clothing so that she n her crew wont look too revealing. Kudos to her.
See, dah le we are like less thn 2 weeks from 50 yrs of freedom, but the problem is still there. 50 yrs and we (i say we cos i'm also malaysian ma..) still can't overcome this simple problem. Vision 2020?? haha.. 13 yrs to go.. Will there be a change ?? Guess we'll have to see lo. Happy birthday malaysia..

Randomness (no. 3)
Its been a bleak bleak week for MU supporters everywhere. 2 draws in 2 games while freakin chelsea manage 2 wins. Good for them i suppose. Dah le we already missing Rooney, now Ronaldo had to behave like a bull and try to headbutt someone. That earned him a freaking red card and 3 matches out including tomorrows trip to in-form city rivals... Somehow i fear for the worse.. Oh dear oh dear... But gotta still stick to ur team no matter what rite?
Anyways, since i've got no more extra school activities to sink my nose into, i've managed to find time to watch 2 movies this week. First was Rush Hour 3.. Overall, i'd give it a 3.5 out of 5. It did have all the laughs and comedic moments like the previous 2 installments but what it lacked was decent fight scenes. A Jackie Chan movie with no good fight scenes? yup, thats what i thought.. Only had 3 or maybe 4 .. and the final battle with the head baddie was.. erm... disappointing to say the least. But as a whole, i think its worth it la. Definitely one of the better movies of the year though.
Second one that i caught just yesterday was Evan Almighty. Sure you all know that its a sequel (can u call it that?) to Bruce Almighty. I don't wanna write synopsis or reviews but if u trust my judgment in movies, you'll be going to watch it the next time ur undecided on what movie to watch. Though it ain't as funny as the Bruce, but still syok.. Where else can u see Morgan Freeman playin God and doin 'The Dance'? There are lil easter eggs as well in the movie if u can spot em. I manage to spot the sign sayin "40 yr old virgin mary now showin" ... Hmm.. a solid 3.5 out of 5 again.
On another shot of randomness, i feel like i'm turning into an adidas supporter!! Nooo.... haha.. Use to be pro Nike until Nike didn't have nice products that i needed anymore :(. Bought 1 Superstar, 1 Predator n 1 cap. Its adidas 3 Nike 0. Alamak... Unless i go out and get an ori Man U jersey... Bah.. not enough money to do so though.. Oh well...
Kat's blog is still like a parliamentary office during an AGM. Sorry la kat, my eyes couldn't take all the words in.. that fella post so freakin long comments, u post so freakin long replies, i need a peaceful and serene environment to suck it all in n digest b4 i could say anything. Oh, should check out Kennysia's latest entry, might concern most of us, might not. But its still worth readin.
Other than that, i think i'll be coming home next weekend... so drew, IF ur readin, i should be attending the BBQ la... oh oh, i so wanna do another mohawk style.. haha.. call me outdated and u'll know what i'll say to u la. Hmmm.. May ask me to come back the following weekend as well.. Merdeka baby (she is ya know) wanna have party, eh may, give me the details lar.. Its gonna be freakin hard to get tickets back ok..
Hmmm... thats bout it i guess.. Exams are drawing nearer (OMFG), assignments are finally all done *yay* provided d lecturers don't call us up and say we've been rejected *fingers crossed*. Hmm.. on a more personal front (wait.. ain't this blog bout me already?) there MIGHT (notice its capped) be something brewing in the emotional pot.. hahaha.. could this be a teaser? lol... wait n see lo :P.

Controvesy? What controversy??
After sum blog surfin, found out that a number of u ppl have taken offense to the "Negarakuku" song on Youtube. Now i can go on and on rambling about how brilliant or how stupid or how the man has a freedom of speech. But i'm sure by then, i'll be like everyone else eh? Anyways, here's all i have to say (if ya'll bother to read la) :
1. We have a freedom of speech. We are living in a democratic country rite? Dude wasn't insulting anyone or anything IMHO, he was merely speakin (or in his case, rapping) his mind on what he thinks is the current state of the nation. Which i have to say, is pretty darn true. Dare any of u disagree? Maybe there is a lil racial sluring but thn again, aren't we all guilty of that at least once in our lives?? No?? Seriously???
2. I'm sure if it was any other song, he'll still get the rap. Just cos he used the national anthem, modify it abit, thn he gets shit.. Do u know folks, in order for anyone of us to play our national anthem, we can't change ANYTHING to it. Not its tune, melody or even key! So, if anyone of us was to remix the national anthem for any other purpose (even good) we'd be in deep shit from d government. On the other hand, look at the US, they allow ppl to modify their national anthem but of cos must not slur it la. Good examples? Jimmie Hendrix and BB King gave awesome awesome renditions of it. Sumthing if we were to do, will end up in sum correction facility in Kemunting (i think).
3. Dudes pretty smart, doin it overseas means he cant get caught by d police. But i read sumwhere that he will come back here just to 'try n see' what it feels like in a lock up. Then wat about all the terrorist bombings and associations to it dat 'some' of our malaysians are part of?? No public scrutiny? No publicity?? No one saying that for them to do such a thing and being malaysian, its a shame towards d country?
Don't have much else to say. 50 yrs of independence and of cos we do have a lot to show and be proud of. But does that mean our country is perfect? And we are we suppose turn a blind eye on all d flaws and fuck ups citing the reason we are a 3rd world country and we are still in the development stage therefore this things happen?? You have ur own say.
I'm sure many of u can point out good and bad things our beloved country has to offer. But please, this is just one person's voice trying to say what most of us are already saying. Only this time, he says it via youtube. So cut him sum slack. If anyone still has sumthing against him, go make a vid on youtube la..

09.08.07 - A Trip Back..
Last weekend, i finally went back to Malacca after nearly 1 month in KL. What to do, busy here busy there, somehow, just can't find the time. It must've been really long cos for the first time rite, I nearly couldn't go back cos nearly all the bus tickets for Friday had been sold off!! The ever reliable Transnational that i always take had 1 ticket.. for 10 pm. -.-''... So after findin here n there, took d metro bus at 4pm.. That time was 3+. Surprising still got. But to my utter dismay, the bloody bus took the long and winding way back through Alor Gajah. God damn muther fucka. Asked d person who sold tickets b4 and he said we were going pass Ayer Keroh toll.

So, being already late, had to call Su Ling to pick me up cos my parents already left d house for sum function. When she did pick me up, Don was in the car.. with a new haircut!! If you've seen him recently, u'll know wat i mean. If not, keep readin, his pic is down below (Don, i gave u more thn 3 days d k). So anyways, we decided to go makan dinner la. And first thing i could think about was Pak Putra. Folks, this place serves D best tandoori chicken in town and i might add maybe in KL as well!. I was suppose to take Khai Lip here last year.. but sadly, didn't have d time. nvm la, next time i come back k ;) . So long never eat here, called what ever d heart desired ;).

Then later on at night, had yum cha session/gossip/goreng session with don, leo, su ling and jac. See Jac, i even called u k!! Don't say i lupa kawan!! :P. Great to meet up with em after so long nvr come back. So after few hours there, found out that nothing much has changed in malacca (no big surprise). Jac heard rumors bout me and like rumors, they are untrue :P. And i heard d Digital Mall is semi open! :D.. Low Yatt Malacca!! hahaha

Then the next day, don, leo and me went to watch The Simpsons at MBO at melaka mall. I have to say, being a fan of the simpsons and watching it every evening on Astro made me have big hopes for it. And after about 1.5 hours of laughing at Homer, Bart, Marge and company, i give it a thumbs up!! :D. Certainly one of the better movies of the year!! IMHO, it rates number three behind Transformers and 300. Sorry la, i haven't seen Pirates 3 nor Harry Potter. So good, i watched it twice! :D. Those who haven't watched it, i seriously recommend it!

After coming home, mom told me that we were goin out to dinner as a belated birthday thing for my sister. And being my sister, without hesitation picked to eat at d Japanese restaurant at Equatorial. Kampa Chi was it?? At first, my dad and i weren't too keen on it. Not that i don't like jap food, just wasn't in d mood for it. But my mom wasn't having any of it. So, wat to do, spend 70++ per person dat nite lo. I think i ate so much smoked salmon that it was nearly 1 fish! ;). And barely reaching home, i had to go out again. This time yum cha with another group : Jo, Klip, Ven (yes his back!), Liang and Chia Ying. I couldn't have possibly eaten anymore so i just settled for a drink. We headed back to jo's place afterwards cos i wanted to try this lemon liqueur that Klip brought back from his trip to Italy. Tasted like vodka with lemonade. Strong, sweet , sour and sharp.. nice~~!!.. Klip said that he gave half a glass to Soon the other day and within 10 min, he was sleepin on d couch d! Luckily for me, dat nor any other drinking side effect happened to me :D.
Looks like mud, but i can assure u, this spinach and cheese dish even got Don putting 2 thumbs up!
The next day, met up with Klip and Ven for lunch and a game of pool. Siang and his friend joined us later. We ate at this beef noodle shop rite opposite Senyum. Again, i think tis is d best beef noodles i've had. The rest all kinda sucked. Even the ones claimin they are Vietnamese beef noodles (FYI, Vietnam is said to have D best world over). Didn't bring my camera with me so couldn't take pictures of the delicious and tender beef. >.< .. I don't know if it was the beef in it or wat, but later during pool, i was like holy-shitting everyone weh. Even Siang also i can win!! Achievement indeed :) . At nite pula was a total DND session for me. Why? Cos got F1 followed by the Community Shield!! Yes folks, d best season is back!! Man U won!! Van der Sar was d hero!! Sweetness~!! Carlos Tevez is joinin us soon.. so double sweetness!! Over on F1, rookie sensation Lewis Hamilton won again! nice~!.. But situation seems very dark at McLaren cos Alonso tak syok Hamilton.. wtf.. -.-''

Anyways, left back for KL on monday morning. Had presentation to do later in the afternoon. And i thought that after last weeks involvement in another school/faculty's sports carnival, i was free. But nooooo.... even the school of pre-U called me to become ref for them. wtf.. ah, they said they'll write a testimonial for me. So not so bad after all la. But this time i was less involved. Manage to find other friends to ref for me while i just sit there and watch. hehe.. Oh, just reformatted my laptop. Apparently i got hit by sum stupid virus like last time. Symptoms were almost all there, just couldn't find the key file. Moreover, got different things start to happen pula. Not taking any chances, so format only lo.
Ta-da~~ Don, say 'HI' to the camera!.. Acutally he was sayin 'fuck la u'
So that being that, i still have 2 assignments and 1 more presentation to kao tim b4 i wrap up my coursework and prepare for my finals. I should be finding material now. but knowing me.. oh well, blogging comes first :P

29.07.07 - Wet Wet Week...
The weather in kl for the past week has been nuthin but overcast and rain. Its a good thing if you've been complaining that its bloody hot in the capital all this while. But not if you are one of the organizers for your schools sports carnival event. The Social Science & Humanites school (or faculty if u like) held their sports carnival last weekend. And me knowing ppl from there, got involved la. Needles to say, i'm kinda sticking my nose into someone elses stuff again. But it ain't that bad, got to become Chief of Judge for them. Don't let the title fool you, sounds like power rite, but actually, my job is almost the same as the sexsecretary but only easier..
But the better part was i got to become football referee! First time become ref weh! With that being said, surely got a degree of noobness in me la. Like calls not being made n wrong decisions made. But like Wallace said, i'm d ref, i'm d law. haha.. Now i've really played in EVERY position on the pitch!! From goalkeeper to center back to midfielder to striker n now ref!. However, since it was rainin like all day, the pitch was in seriously dire conditions. Even the field in St. Davids on a rainy day is better thn TAR college field. Its literally playin in a paddy field weh. But its fun watchin ppl slip n slide in d mud chasing for d ball. Especially when the ball suddenly stops in a puddle, those chasing the ball will apply their 'emergency breaks' and sumhow end up on the deck. And it also makes refeering a whole lot easier cos players don't dare go 100% into a challege for d fear of gettin mud. Too bad i didn't bring my camera la. Oh, i wasnt spared as well, had to run from 1 end to the other, and wats d result? legs covered in mud. But ain't mud good for the skin? Hmmm.....
Well, besides football, there were other sports goin on la. But most of em are so far away from d field, that i myself malas wanna go n c. But one other sport that i was overseeing (or partially overseeing) was chess. Yes, my college also got chess tournament! But 1 thing i see was so damn sad. The chess pieces were old and some of em had missing 'heads' weh. And u noe, its d same chess boards/pieces used in St Davids! Nostalgic.. hahaha.. There were good players and serious noobies. Rarely get to see those inbetween types.
Thunderstorms halted play for all outdoor events on Wednesday. So with us ithcing to kick something, we decided to go n play futsal instead! :D. And the following day, the whole football event was converted to futsal for the fear of rain n bad pitch conditions. A wise move i must say cos it did rain again on thursday and we manage to finish it on that day itself! :D. Overall, i think i have to be the most lenient ref around. I often let play go on, never gave a card for the whole tournament and let ppl tackle each other silly. ahhaha..
Then on the final day, as with all or most sporting events, there was d ol' tug of war. The conditions on that day was superb. For once it didn't rain !!.. And one surprising thing, there were girls taking part!! Seriously, all my life, i've not seen any girl team taking part in this event. But most of the girls taking part were one kind la.. no no, surely not seafood-ish. But more of the tomboyish, guy-side of the lesbian couple, sibeh vocal type. The way they taunt opposing teams before the game seriously scared me weh.. Were they really girls or 'girls' with a lil 'thai influence' :P.
Anyways, all the field events ended by 6+ and wat was left was basketball. But then, some ppl, namely commitee members decided to have sum fun by throwing flour (used to draw d lines for tug o war) at each other. I tried to be as silent and as non existant as possible for i really didn't want to get floured. But then, as it turned out, i got d worse. Most of em just got flour thrown at em but i got flour + water!.. Water weh!!.. they wanna make me into a human dough or wat? It was disgusting la.. All sticky n hard to get off. And when it dried up, felt like got 1 extra layer of skin...-.-.. but i understand la, no hard feelings k. All in d fun of it.
So after d final whistle blew for basketball, we all were free of this event d! whee... No more stayin back at college till nitefall!! yay... Seriously, with the 7th month comin up, i dont wanna weh.. But then, i fear that next week, my friends from another school will ask me to ref again. oh well, it aint that bad rite? ...
Oh, sorry i couldn't make it back this weekend again... sports thing really took alot out of me.. really tired + still got damn assignments to kao tim which sum i haven't even started!! So if, IF all goes well, no disturbances whatsover, i should be coming back next week?? But like the weather here, it can change in n instance... >.<..

19.07.07 - O O Nite 07
Jason n me.. MIB 3 anyone??
Last weekend my college held an event called Orientation Odyssey Nite. Don't ask me why its called dat cos thats wat its been called ever since i enrolled in here. Usually i'm not a big fan of all this kinda stuff... Need to dress all formal n all, sitting down in ur seat watching a show that maybe the least bit entertaining. However, this year, cos my friend Wallace asked for assistance, i thought why not rite? Actually, he's just 1 of the directors in the committee nia. So, with all this going on and not to mention assignments, presentations n mid sem test, sorry for not blogging la.
Rows n rows of chairs which was filled up at that nite.
So my role for the nite was suppose to be one of the ushers. Whats that u may ask? Well, u know la this sorta events got all sorts of big shots n celebrities rite? So our job was to erm.. usher them wherever they wanted to go during the event (like to their seats, up on stage, out of the hall, etc) . One of my friends even escorted the principal to the toilet weh!! lolz... So being an usher, i kena la pakai formal kao kao.. Thats why i needed the blazer which luckily i did. I seriously look like a MIB agent eh? Forgot to bring my sunglasses that day :(. But seriously, i look better thn sum of the finalist weh :D.

The day before the event the college hall was buzzing with ppl walking here n there carrying this and that, finalist practicing their routines (which honestly needed more work), helpers n staff arranging props, chairs n AV equipment. I was there at around 12 pm in time to pack the goodie bags to give to those who came. Digi was the main sponsor.. alamak, why no maxis la.. guess they really do follow u everywhere huh -.-'. So cutting the long story short, most of us spent almost the whole day from morning till nearly mid nite preparing. Man, it really felt like the longest day in my life. Even after yum cha session, it was only 1 am and i seriously felt as if i could sleep rite on the mamak table.

On the day itself, i thought i could wake up a lil later cos i just played a minor part but since i was called to assist, kena la i go at the break of dawn (actually, it was around 830 liddat). Surprisingly, we weren't the first to be there, the poor finalist actually was there from 8 am d. I don't know if its a malaysian culture or what la, but sumhow, theres always more last minute work to be done as the eleventh hour draws closer. Even got someone or something tried to sabotage furniture. But as the hours pass by, i guess everything was falling into place. Went back to get a rest at around 1 and came back to college at 3+.
Honestly, i very malas wanna explain what happened the entire nite la.. so i'll summarize eh.. lets see.. 4pm, commitee, helpers, crew started arriving, by 5, the guest judges also started arriving togather with students. There were 6 of em. 3 guys n 3 girls. I guess the only guy worth mentioning was Adam C! Yes, Adam C came weh.. and he was very nice to come without any monetary incentive or wat not. The other 2 were a guy called Dylan (host of sum chinese show on 8tv) and Vic (neh.. the malaysian idol 2nd runner up). Vic looked soooo gay that nite.. even i malas wanna take picture of him. And he bukan main ada diva attitude sial.. scold the helpers for not listenin to him. The girls leh. Honestly, i don't know any of em. 1 is suppose to be last years Miss Astro 3rd place Josephine Goh, 1 more X-tarCollege/model and another is fashion design head. But they were all surprisingly down to earth and friendly, even stayed back after the event to take pictures with those who came. Vic pula, run like he was being set free from jail.

Hmm... the show started right after all the Heads of School and principal arrived. The finalist were required to dance, do a sketch and catwalk + show of their 'talent' during the event. Their dancing was ok. Not that bad but not that good either. Their sketch however.. left very much to be desired. This being TAR, i didn't expect much of their english la. But after 2 months of training, they still had glaring grammatical errors? I think out of 6 contestants, only 1 and maybe 1 more can speak english fluently. Catwalking leh.. i don't know what to expect la. Definatly not going to be ur America's Next Top Model type la.

As for the talent show, not the best, but after the 3rd contestant, Adam C was already sufferin from boredom by the way the put his elbows on the table and put his head on his hands.. They were mediocre at best. Well, i guess i can't complain la rite.. they are all freshman anyways. Oh, i did escorted one of the judges to the stage to recieve their token of appreciation, the X-tarcian.. she is ok looking la... but hey, she was the only one that actually 'used' the usher provided for her. U see, as each judge goes up to the stage, we were suppose to accompany them, male judge with female usher n vice versa. The girls are suppose to sumhow 'hold' the guy's arm while accompanyin them upstage. Sadly, none of em wanted any 'help' . All 3 girls were good looking weh... The female judges also didn't want to hold on to the arm offered by us guys. Well, not them anyway, haha.. i was lucky :D .

Actually we also had to escort which ever sponsor was there to recieve their TOA. But duno why, only 2 out of i think 5 showed up. Quite n embarrasing moment la. MC calling their name few times but no one came up to stage. Oh well, shit happens rite? After all those was done n dusted, the winners was announced and to quite a number of our surprise (judges included) the one we tipped to win only managed to get 2nd place. I tell u its a consipiracy weh.. she catwalked the best, acted by far the best (she played bimbo girl.. power weh) and she her talent was singing.. and she sang really well weh... she was the digicelebrityteen winner or runner up i cant remember.

So after all that was done. People were leavin already but not before looking for those celebrity judges to camwhore with. I tell u, i think adam got the most attention. He was rooted to the spot for a good 15 min weh. But i can tell that he was loving every min of the attention he got la :p. And then rite, he asked one of us, "wheres a good place to eat around here, i'm hungry". So one whole bunch of us headed to Steven's Corner 2 yum cha with Adam C!! No one could be more happy thn Wallace himself cos according to him, he's an adam fan.. -.-.. There was this one incident, a hitz.tv ad was on tv and it was serena with adam on it. One of my friends started booing n wooing and we all wondered why. And then when another friend started to point, the whole table of us (i think got 20) started booing loudly. Adam's face got seriously red man.. hahaha. Anyway, it was great to have him at our college let alone joining us yum cha. So if sumhow ur readin this adam, thanks for the memories :).

So all in all, it was a succesfull event la, and again, it was a very long day got back by 1 and it felt like 5. Although i did wake up at 5 to watch Brazil trash Argentina in the Copa America final. Was really hoping that Argentina with Messi, Riquielme and Tevez and blast those brazillians. But that was not to be.. Oh well...

With that all done, next week will be another busy week cos of Sports Carnival. Yours truly is co-Chief-Of-Judge. Hahhaah. oh.. i still haven't given those photos in my camera to those particular ppl.. Dah le forgot to bring it down. >.< .. need to online again soon.. argh..~~
